Sorry, I'm not sure; as I previously stated, it didn't read my 32GB San Disk Extreme SDHC class10 60mb/s, so I can't say one way or the other. As another writer stated, you must apply some pressure when inserting the card; it must grab the card and sort of lock in; once you get that feeling, you will know the card is ready. I haven't bought it yet, but I'm thinking about it. Amazon notified me of my refund promptly. From today, it will be four business days.
I have no idea. Due to sporadic connectivity, I had to return it.
Mines did not get too hot, but only for a short time. All of a sudden, it stopped working.

Even though I tried the trick below, the first one did not work. It was replaced without hesitation by Amazon. br>The second worked, but the instructions failed to mention that the CF card must be inserted backwards. br>Finding that piece of information took some time and effort. br>I was not informed of this when I spoke with the company. After I had figured out the solution, the only hint I found was an image on the cove of the "Quick Start" sheet.
It takes up less space on my computer, and I recommend it to anyone who uses an Apple or Windows computer.
So I JUST got this, and it's even better than I had hoped for. The bottom pad is just the right thickness and grip, and it's nicely weighted and sleek. The light beneath the front face's lip, shining beneath the logo onto the surface on which it sits, was something I hadn't expected. Love it. The cord could be a little longer; it's only about 2 feet long. This is someone who gets the job done. Just keep in mind that it can only read one SD card slot at a time.
My only criticism is that the sockets for the angle are not intuitive. Despite the fact that the surface is angled, they appear to go in straight. Aside from that, it's fine and goes well with an "Apple" theme.
Works as expected; however, when I turn off my computer, the light on the bottom does not turn off. It is run on battery power.
Very well constructed, and it appears to be in excellent condition. Bringing the ports to the front of my Mac is a nice touch. br>I am very pleased with this.
Everything is in order. Unfortunately, there aren't enough USB 3 ports on most PCs. To begin with, there were no ports.
The iMac ports are all on the back of the unit, so I bought it for that reason. I used each port when I first got it, but I haven't needed them since, and none of them work anymore (it's been about 6 months). It appears to be quite attractive.
