Yes, as long as your hard drive is nvme m. 2 I'm not a fan of sata.
Hello there, br>br>Yes, the M. 2 adapter to MacBook may be supported.br>Please review and follow the installation instructions below. 1. br>br> You can fully press the adapter onto the PCIe drive's end, then insert the contacts end into the logic board SSD connector on the MacBook Pro.
2. Please press it in until it is fully seated and the anchoring screw on the other end of the PCIe drive lines up with the screw hole, while keeping the drive as flat to the board as possible. Re- Place the screw in place and snugly tighten it.
4. Replace the computer's back panel, and boot the computer from a flash drive with a 'new install' OS X boot drive. Format the disk with Disk Utility, and install OS X (Note: To work with PCIe drives, you must have at least High Sierra installed.
5. Restart your computer and reload the rest of your programs from a backup you made before you started; Alternatively, you can reinstall the programs you've installed. The PCIe stick, as well as the adapter, drive does a good job. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them. br>The team from Qivynsry

2 2280 drive, which works fine except for the fact that hibernation is not supported on this drive - I'll include that in the information for anyone else who wants to try it.
The Samsung Evo was a perfect fit, and it was easy to install and use.
So far, there have been no problems. Amazing product that is simple to install, fits perfectly, and works flawlessly on my late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina!.
This adapter is compatible with the MacBook Pro 11,1 A1502 and Mac OS X 10. 9. 13 or higher in the High Sierra. br>br>It is not compatible with Mac OS 10. 12 Sierra foothills or lower.
It works. It really works. Good value for money.
I needed to upgrade the memory on my old MacBook Pro from 2014, and this adaptor helped me do so on the cheap, going from 128 to 512 Gb without paying Apple fees. It's only a matter of taking the risk of doing it on your own.
Making this review to let people know that it works with the Silicon Power P34A60 256GB NVMe SSD, that it works really well, and that you must use at least MacOS High Sierra to get it to work; otherwise, it won't work.
I couldn't get this to work. The SSD in my MacBook Air 2017 was completely unrecognized. Junk for a low price.
