Without a doubt. This is the exact model I use, and it's been working for nearly four years.
I had no trouble removing the BaseQi from the SD slot on my MacBook Pro. I've never used anything other than my fingernail. It fits snugly in the slot and, thanks to the metallic end cap, blends in with the surface of my MacBook Pro, making it both aesthetically and functionally pleasing! Mine has made me very happy.
I have a bunch of microSD cards to use with GoPros, and it works great with it. Every single one of them, including the Sandisk ultra 200GB card, works flawlessly.

303A is the base IQ. Although the color does not exactly match the Space Gray 2021 Macbook Pro, it does fit with just enough of the lip showing to allow it to be removed.
To expand storage space on my MacBook Pro 13" with Retina (early 2015) laptop, I purchased this. I'm currently working with a.
My previous storage device was a SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3. 0 flash drive. Since the MBP's 256GB solid state drive was filling up too quickly (I run Windows in a virtual machine), I added a 0 drive as additional storage. Overall, it worked, but it protruded from the MBP's body and was yanked out at times. I've been apprehensive about it the entire time - I was afraid it would get caught on something and cause me to lose files or, worse, damage the USB port (I move my laptop around a lot!). br>br>Then I saw a 256GB micro SD for $88, and realized that if there was some sort of adapter that fit flush on the side, it would solve my problems just like the SanDisk USB flash drive had. That's how I came across it! br>br>I was concerned about some of the negative reviews, but I believe the majority of them were from people who ordered the wrong item. NOTE - Depending on the size (13" / 15") and model (retina / non-retina), each Macbook requires a different model. retina, and so on). So, do your homework and double-check your quality assurance. However, now that I've found the perfect one for my MacBook Pro, I have to say I'm a huge fan! br>br>IMPORTANT NOTE - I immediately downloaded the MOUNTain app ($5) after hearing about it from another user. 99) to keep this mounted even when my Macbook goes to sleep (a problem I used to have with my flash drive was that it would unmount, but not anymore thanks to MOUNTain).
I purchased this item in order to expand the storage capacity of my MacBook Pro with Retina Display. I first considered the Nifty MiniDrive, but after learning that it had been out of stock for several months and that many reviews stated that the SD card would be ejected after closing the laptop and would need to be reinserted, I moved on to other options. The BASEQI adapter, according to several reviews, was not affected by this issue. It was also less expensive to use the BASEQI adapter. I've been using it for over six months now. It has nearly flawlessly stored files in that time (for the time being, I am using it as a Time Machine backup). In that time, it has been ejected twice unexpectedly, which I can live with. To remove the adapter, you'll need more than a fingernail. I haven't had any problems accessing the SD card, and Time Machine hasn't reported any problems with hourly backups in the last six months. (I do get periodic messages saying "we need to delete old backups," so I'm aware that backups are taking place. ) )br>br>The only drawback is a matter of appearance: On my early 2015 MBP with retina display, the adapter does not extend the full length of the SD card slot on the right side (see photo). But, realistically, I don't look at my SD card slot very often, so I'm not aware of the problem. In conclusion, I'm glad I purchased the BASEQI SD card adapter. It was less expensive than other options and has proven to be extremely reliable for the past six months.
