It is not so easy to use Sony and Apple products together
4/5

In the owners manual it says so. My first impression of the switch is that I like the look and feel of it. This is also adept at true 4K rendering at 60 Hz, which makes it stand out to me. As a result of the reviews and specs, I purchased two of these animals. Those factors, as well as the scarcity of this item, make it difficult to obtain. In fact, I had two of them, so I was able to do some basic testing to make sure the issues I was experiencing were not caused by bad hardware. What I discovered can be found here. If you are setting up components, turn them all off and disconnect them all before you start. All things are meant by me when I say It consists of the components, the switch, and I am going to be honest about it all. If you can, unplug everything before connecting any HDMI cables before connecting them. It may not be convenient, but it is a good idea. Pictures indicate that I have an Xbox One X and a Sony PS4 as the only devices connected to a 40" curved 4K monitor from Sony. I thought the consoles would work just fine in the "Power Rest" mode at first. Having connected the HDMI cables, I turned on Switch ONE and my Xbox and then plugged in the power. I'm so excited! Let's start up the PlayStation 4 now! Things started to get weird at that point. A problem with Switch ONE was intermittently flashing, meaning that it attempted to jump to Input2 (Playstation) each time that video / audio from Input1 (Xbox) was being stopped. After hanging, the PS would then try to go back to the Xbox. It would be fine for a few seconds, then repeat this annoying habit of trying to return to the PS (which was in power rest). When I disconnected the PS (by pulling the cable out of the Input2 port) and plugged it back into Switch ONE (regardless of which input port I was using) the same behavior manifested. Flash off the Xbox, go to PS, go back You have to wash, rinse, and As for Switch ONE, I was able to make it work by turning off EVERY component (did some other tests with an Apple TV that I won't cover here) and plugging the consoles directly into the power adapter, then disconnecting all of the connections to the switch. Afterward, I plugged in the Xbox and turned it on without any issue, then I plugged in the PS and turned it on without any issues. Although it flashed, it stayed lit. Yes, I understand. This was also my hope that it would have fixed the problem. In order to remove an electrical switch, I had to hold in the SWITCH button as directed by the manufacturer for 8 seconds. In order to turn off Auto-play, press the key It is time to switch modes. After the setup is complete, you can see that Input 1 is blue, Input 2 is red, and I have stability regardless of 'power state' even when both consoles are operating. I did some testing with two switches, did I not mention that? When I made sure that I received the same behavior on both switches (at first), I tried just turning everything off and plugging everything into Switch Two. The Nintendo Switch 2 was powered on, then the Xbox, and then the PlayStation 3. In a curious twist, Switch TWO was able to navigate the issue and did not do the 'flashing'. It did NOT require me to hold down the switch for anything longer than eight seconds. You can find it on switch no. 2 in the group. Both switches will not be activated by Auto Sense or Auto Switch. The only thing you ought to expect if you have any Apple or Sony products connected to the switch is this. The remote is the only way to control the game. It's not as bad as it seems. You can see in pic 4 that I keep mine right next to the Xbox, and when I'm ready to mess with the PS, I just pick up the remote and press the Input 2 button. In spite of the fact that both consoles are powered on, it switches over without any problems, no flashing, no drama from I hope this is helpful to anyone out there who is having difficulty getting the initial switch to work! In addition to working with Sony and Xbox devices, I got them to work with PC and Apple products as well. It seems like the auto industry doesn't appreciate it A new front has emerged. Due to this, it gets a 4 star rating instead of a In my honest opinion, I'd rate it a I would give the picture a perfect score of 9, since the picture quality is great!.

I did not fulfill the purpose for which I purchased Having used the product for a month now, I'd like to share my experience with you
3/5

Despite the fact that my TV only has one HDMI port, and I have multiple devices which require a HDMI connection and I use them constantly, I bought this. My intended devices to be used with this HDMI Switch are as follows TV, PS4, Apple TV 4K, and Apple TV 4 The provider of the channel box. I use Apple Tv or Channel Box and I switch to the PS4 when I am playing the game, the image will last a few minutes and then it will become black while I can still hear the game playing. In fact, this happened to me a couple of times now, to the point that I decided to remove the PS4 connection from the HDMI Switch and just manually change the HDMI cables in the TV every time I wanted to use the PS4 (which was the original purpose of the HDMI Switch). I have, however, never faced any problem with the Apple TV and Channel Box in the same Switch, and the PlayStation 4 in its own HDMI cable at all. There is no way for me to know if this Switch is incapable of handling a game console(which it should be) or if it is going out of order. What I know is that I have not been able to get the results I wanted. In the event that the issue gets corrected or a solution is discovered, I will update this review accordingly. *******.

The first input was all that worked
3/5

Therefore, there is no point in doing this. An individual purchased this for their PS4 Pro and Xbox One S tablet to use with their gaming system. In the initial setup, both the Xbox One and the PS4 Pro did not work at the same time. Input 1 of the PS4 Pro worked fine, but the blue light for input 2 of the Xbox One S, which was in input 2, would blink off and at the same time the red light for input 1 would blink. The screen goes dark until the blue lights on inputs 2 come back on again at this point. In addition to disconnecting everything, including the power supply that was included, and reconnecting them one at a time, we also tried powering the device on again after it was powered off. Furthermore, we tried about ten other things, but none of them worked. The problem with this product is that it seems to be poorly constructed, and I've obviously encountered problems with it. The device is tiny, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is made from incredibly cheap plastic, and it doesn't seem very durable to me. This device, although small, still requires a considerable amount of room because the ports for the output (to TV) and input 5 are located on the right and left sides. This means you need enough room on either side for the length of the HDMI cable, and it makes cord management extremely unfriendly. As well as this, after you removed the sticky plastic from the top, similar to what you find on the front of cell phones when you get them, it left streaks of sticky substance on the visible top of the device, Moreover, even if all of these other issues didn't exist, we could deal with them if only everything worked as it should.

I'm glad you like it! Since I moved into the 4K world I decided I needed an HDMI switcher that was fully compatible with 4K
5/5

I've used Kinivo HDMI switchers in the past, I still do, but I have to get one with full 4K compatibility. Since I've had past experience with Kinivo products, I decided to try the switch since I've had good results in the past. So far, after three days, the switch is working well with no issues. I haven't stumbled yet, and it is compatible with 4 devices at the moment that I am aware of a TiVo Mini VOX, a Roku Ultra, an Amazon Fire TV 4K Stick, and an Apple TV 4K An OPPO 203 UHD disc player and a Denon AVR-700 are all connected to the switch they are then fed into and the recorder for a Denon AVR-700 I then jumped over to a Sony A9F OLED display, which I will conclude with the X4500H. Having integrated the Kinivo switch into my Harmony 950(w/Hub) setup, I have been totally satisfied with the result to date, meaning that it has been completely transparent, as you would want it to. If you're in need of a 4K HDMI switch, I definitely recommend the Kinivo 550BN 4K HDMI switch!.
