The 4 in/1 out HDMI switch works great. You can plug everything in on the backside, it has a brushed metal finish, and the remote goes well with it. Its main feature is its excellent picture quality, which is the main highlight of this type of device. In contrast to other switches available, its price is fairly reasonable. As I do not have HDR or 4K inputs (yet), I cannot comment on how well those work. I am in favor of regular HD content. My only complaint is two little things 1) how long it takes me to switch between inputs. When I switch from one input to the next, I can take up to seven seconds The time it took from the time I hit the button to when the new picture appeared on the screen was 11 seconds. I don't switch inputs that often, so I don't mind this, but it would be better if it were faster (like 3 seconds). cannot seem to make the automatic switching feature I have tried to make the switcher automatically change from input 1 to input 2 or 3. But no matter what I do, the switcher does not change from input 1 to input 2 or 3. An Apple TV (4th Gen), a DirectTV DVR, and a PS4 are all part of my entertainment surround system. My main hope was the automatic switching feature, so that I would not have to use one remote in the house. I'll keep trying, but the automatic switching feature was my main hope. A couple more weeks of use has revealed that the auto input switching feature does indeed work, but not all the time. It seems to work well if you turn on something that was not fully powered on. If this device was turned on while in sleep mode or standby mode, it will at times auto switch to the accessory that was in sleep mode or standby mode.

This equipment was to replace my VGA KVM setup which worked very well, but could never even come close to driving my 4K HDMI monitor in full resolution. It was to replace my 4K HDMI KVM setup that was too expensive. In the end, I chose to keep my VGA KVM switch for keyboard and mouse, and to switch to HDMI using this switch. It is a great HDMI switch and I am very satisfied with it. The software is flawless it hasn't given me any problems. The picture quality and connection are rock solid, which is evident even at 4K@60Hz. Everything I need is being done by this program. There are a couple things you need to keep in mind, 1) The monitor and computer don't appear to recognize the switch as an HDMI device Transparency is more of a key element of it Therefore, when you switch inputs away from a computer, to that computer, it appears as if the monitor has been unplugged. You can expect it to do whatever it normally does when you unplug your The computer will remember each unique display configuration and remember the settings if you switch to that input when you return from sleep, rearrange desktop icons, resize windows, etc. If your computer remembers each unique monitor configuration, it will set the settings back to the original ones when you switch back. 2) When the switch is plugged in or turned on, the switch automatically activates the input. As a result, if your MacBook is attempting updates and you’re trying to use another system while that happens, be aware that this switch will pull you away and switch to the HDMI output every time your MacBook reboots or does something else that will power up the HDMI output. This switch probably will be useful when used with a home theater system thanks to both of these features. When used as part of a KVM switch setup, however, they are not so great. However, I also cannot refer to them as In order to optimize them for a different use case, they are simply good design features. This thing is a fantastic value at this price point. While other products at this price point are priced at $100, $200, or $1,500 (all with equally poor reviews), this thing is only $50.

It is a game changer to have one HDMI port on your television which allows you to stream all your inputs. The fact that the Playstation automatically selects the correct input when I turn it on is great. There is no need to struggle to find the input on your television using the remote control. I just can't say enough about how well it works The product was delivered as described. Thank you for your product. I am very satisfied.

I find this to be a very helpful tool. The installation was completed within a few minutes by my husband. The RED LEDs on the front are the only thing I do not like. It's VERY BRILLIANT and has a FLUORESCENT COLOR During the night, we don't appreciate it in our bedroom. It was daylight when I took this photo. Nighttime provides a much brighter view of it! For this reason, I had to take a star off. It is my husband's goal to find a way to cover them up so they do not continue to cause inconvenience. This should be helpful, I hope.
