I'm not familiar with your application or level of expertise. This item, however, is a serial cable that I do not believe will work for you. You should use a video cable because you're dealing with a video signal. Basic VGA cables have 9 pins and will work with your setup. I hope this information is useful.

This cable is a good substitute. It's nice and sturdy, and it appears to be well constructed. It does the job perfectly.
With my testing equipment, this cable worked perfectly. I tried using a 50' Ethernet cable with a DB9 to RJ45 converter, but it didn't seem to work for some reason (even though it was pinned correctly). I assumed my equipment was defective, but this cable worked perfectly. The only drawback is that you have to wind it up every time you use it so it doesn't get tangled and your hands get dirty, but what can you do?.
I had a few extension cables, but they didn't work because the factory cable was only long enough for units to be placed side by side? br>I bought this cable, and now my washer and dryer are communicating as they should?.
It was enough to cut one of these in half. The cable's wires were of good quality and easy to solder. Furthermore, they connect to the pins in the order of the standard resistor color code (black brown red orange, etc. ), so once I figured that out, it was a piece of cake. a breeze to put together.
This one is different; it has a thick cable and good connections.
