There are 232 interfaces. Two patch panels were constructed by me. One will be placed on the floor near the telescope's pier, while the other will be placed on the warm room's computer desk. The 25- Two 2" PVC conduits, which I buried underground prior to observatory construction, carry the foot serial cables that I purchased. I bought DB9 plates for mounting the serial connectors, as well as serial couplers to go with them. To make sure I had everything I needed, I bought Male-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Male, Male, Male- Female as well as Female-related Couplers that are female. An Rs232 port was required to connect a machine to a data entry device operator station. It works great and isn't likely to walk off the store floor due to its neutral beige color.
