Do you mean the metal casing that surrounds the connector when you say shell? If that's the case, they are 1:1 isolated from all external metal. 1 (pin to pin in a straight line.)

The cable that plugs into the car's DLC (diagnostic link connector) is attached to the Autel AL539b scan tool using a DB15 connector. If you're under the hood of your car, the cable isn't quite long enough to keep the scan tool with you. I was trying to monitor fuel trims on the scan tool while checking for vacuum leaks recently and wished the cable was just a few feet longer. br>br>The straightforward answer is a 6 foot male. As an extension, a female DB15 cable is used. The extension connects the Autel to the cable that came with it. Problem solved; you now have an additional 6 feet of space to work with. br>br>I chose this cable because it was the cheapest (under $7) and had the best reviews. The following day, I had it in my hands. br>It connects easily and functions flawlessly. There were no problems with connectivity or data transfer. The cable is flexible and appears to be well-made. br>br>For $7, I think this is almost a must-have for an AL539b. It allows you to keep an eye on real-time data while working behind the scenes. I'll keep using it and report back after I've given it some more time, but for now, this cable is a winner.
I recently acquired a Piano Discovery System, which is a 24-year-old product. Everything was included except the cable, which requires a DB15 cable with male on one end and female on the other, also known as a Joystick/MIDI cable because it connects the 49-pin controller to the computer. The computer and a key electric piano keyboard. It draws 5 volts from the PC to power the electric keyboard as well as the MIDI (Musical Instruments Digital Interface). The piano came alive and works well after the cable was plugged in on both ends, the software was installed, and the program was started. Because the system is designed to teach a child or adult how to play the piano, we now have something to do while we are at home. It's fantastic.
This cord worked perfectly as a replacement cord for a Bose 123 audio system. This is an excellent product.
It's just a cable, and it'll get the job done.
These are very effective. I purchased three of them, and they are exactly what I was looking for.
