Connect the Roomba to it. This cable is outstanding. The cable works when connected to the Roomba or a computer. When the cable is active/data is being sent over it, it has a nice LED to show you.
This was connected to the roomba's DIN connector and the Raspberry Pi 4 on the other end. And it works perfectly now that I have python programs from Github!.

Keep that in mind if you're planning a trip. Everything is as it should be. It's worth noting that the power pins on a cut cable aren't wired, so don't try to use it to power other devices.
