Redragon M711 Cobra Gaming Mouse with 16.8 Million RGB Color Backlit, 10,000 DPI Adjustable, Comfortable Grip, 7 Programmable Buttons

When it comes to researching any item I'm going to buy, I'm a stickler for details. I looked through an incredible variety of mice in search of one that would be relatively universally applicable to all programs and games to replace my Logitech G300, which is uncomfortable and awkward to use. I use my high-end custom-built computer for both work and gaming, and I mostly play competitive shooters, but I also play a number of RPGs and MMOs. I wanted a mouse that was comfortable in my hand first and foremost, and that was also very accurate and smooth with a higher DPI. I was initially pointed in the direction of the DeathAdder, which is similar in style, but after reading some negative reviews, I decided to keep looking. Even if the price were the same, this mouse is MUCH better. br>br>With a lovely wrapped cord and incredibly stunning LEDs, this mouse is unmistakably well-made. It arrived in a very sleek gray box (which, while I may discard, makes a good first impression). It feels as if it were made of butter in my hands. The mouse wheel is the best I've ever seen, and all of the button layouts are spot on. br>br>This mouse is top-of-the-line while remaining reasonably priced. Put an end to your search and purchase this mouse.

UPDATE: I've gotten about 20 emails from Redragon asking me to update my review after they sent me a replacement mouse due to software issues. That's fine, but the constant pleading for a review change, coupled with the mouse's continued poor performance, has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. This is something I'd like to bring up. I changed my rating to a one because I've never been hassled by a company as much as I have now. br>br>I am a big fan of Redragon products in general. This mouse seemed to be perfectly fine. It's made entirely of smooth plastic and is surprisingly light; however, the side buttons don't feel great, and the shape is a little large and uncomfortable. The software was also never quite right for me, and I had a lot of trouble adjusting the mouse speed. I kept bumping into the middle buttons by accident as well. br>br>Having said that, it does look nice, and the RGB effect is fun, and it's a decent and functional mouse overall. It's adequate for the price. But it wasn't long before I switched it out for a razer deathadder. br>br>The redragon keyboards I'll mention are absolutely fantastic, so if you're looking for an affordable mechanical gaming keyboard, I highly recommend them. Also, the MMO mouse they sell is pretty good, and it's only $10 more than this one.

I needed a replacement mouse for my Razer Death Adder, which had developed the dreaded (and apparently common) double-click problem. Something sturdy, with a similar design and function, was what I was looking for. All of these have so far been answered by the Cobra - The shape is nearly identical to the Death Adder that I adored, fitting my hand perfectly, the buttons are responsive and clicky (a plus for me, but not for everyone), and the software to control it is simple to understand and set up. I had to lower the DPI to keep up with the pointer because it moves so quickly and smoothly. The lights are a nice addition, but I'd be happy with it even if they weren't there. And the price is unbeatable. br>br>I'm hoping it will last me a long time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good mouse that won't set them back a fortune.

This mouse is fantastic in every way. The lighting, the software, the feel, the build quality, and, most importantly, the gameplay. I'm amazed at how good this mouse is for the $22 I paid for it. I feel stupid for spending so much on my death adder from a few years ago that has only recently started phantom clocking because the lighting options are plentiful and far superior to most options at this price. I would buy this mouse again in a heartbeat. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The optical sensor on the mouse has developed a minor problem. It's not as smooth as it was when I first started using it for subtle slow movements. After disassembling and cleaning the switches, I returned to my death adder. Because of the concerns about the optical sensor durability of this reddragon mouse, I'm deducting a star.

The software, on the other hand, could be a lot better. It's a little difficult to use, and saving isn't always successful. It works fine after some tinkering, but they really need to update that software. I really like the mouse, and the cable that comes with it is fantastic. Much better than the cheap plastic mice that come with most other mice. The packaging in which this mouse arrived was also fantastic! I had the impression that I had purchased a high-end mouse based solely on the packaging. It wasn't just any old cardboard box; it was a nice cool plastic box that looked like a weapon case.

So I've had this mouse for a few weeks, maybe even a month, and I wanted to give it some time to break in before writing a review. It's a lot of fun to use and extremely cool. If you're like me and on a budget or just plain broke, but still want a decent mouse that lights up and has its own features, this is the mouse for you. It comes in a very nice case that is a little difficult to open at first, but don't worry, the mouse is extremely secure. The only thing I don't like about the mouse (which is why I gave it four stars) is that when I use the program that came with it (the drivers) to change the color to something I want or like (yes, you can make your own colors), it doesn't always stay that way. Aside from that, I've used this mouse for a variety of games and everyday tasks, and it's great. Here's a list of games I've played with it.
