Questions & Answers

Is there support for the new 2nd generation optical switches in this model?

I just got mine, and it's a XX2033, so it doesn't have the second-generation optical switches. According to what I've read, 2nd generation switches begin with the XX2037 model.

Hello, does anyone know how big a mouse is exactly? If someone could tell me, I'd be very grateful. ?

It's a little bigger than the Logitech G203, but it's also a lot more fun.

Is there a ship that is completely free?

It varies according to the seller; sometimes it does, and sometimes it does not.

Is it possible to change the DPI button's function?

Using the Razer Synapse software, you can convert it to a macro.

I wanted to fall in love with this mouse, but it has a fatal flaw
3/5

I was hoping to fall in love with this mouse because I'm a huge Razer fan. Because I'm left-handed, I needed a wireless gaming mouse that was ambidextrous. With the exception of one thing, which I'll discuss in a moment, I adore everything about it. The wireless is great, and it tracks really well with the 20k dpi optical sensor. I love the look of it, the textured matte finish, and the rubber grips on the sides; the wireless is great, and it tracks really well with the 20k dpi optical sensor. It glides effortlessly across my glass mouse pad. The shape and size are ideal, and the RGB lighting is fantastic. The mouse wheel and side buttons are perfect, and the charging cable is thick and braided. The software is excellent. The wireless dongle is stored in a small compartment on the bottom. You can use a charging dock if you want to. The two primary mouse buttons, however, are a major flaw that cannot be overlooked. They're a dreadful sight. They're completely mushy and squeak a lot. Razer gets credit for this. Make no mouse at all, let alone one that costs $130 and has bad buttons. In my opinion, any mouse with poor primary buttons is worthless. br>br>*Update
Returned the Viper and replaced it with a Logitech G Pro Wireless, which meets all of my requirements. Lightweight, small in size, ambidextrous, and wireless are all features of this device. Although the mouse buttons aren't as good as Razer's, they are adequate. Razer, you should be ashamed of yourself. A mouse with faulty primary buttons should never be released.

My desk was taken over by the Razer Viper Mini, and now it is occupied by the Ultimate
5/5

Update after a year: It's still my favorite mouse after a year, and I've since acquired many more mice. This includes the G Pro Superlight and the Aerox 3 Wireless (Model D minus, M42, XM1r, and a variety of other models). It's still the mouse with which I'm most comfortable. I'm married to a man who isn't interested in having children. I use a more aggressive claw grip with it than with any other mouse, and it simply feels better. Aside from the grip, the mouse and dock's quality hasn't deteriorated in any way. I still wish the M1 and M2 had an extra 5 grams of tension and a smidgeon more feedback when depressed. I also think it would be cool to be able to adjust an artificial debounce time with the optical switches, as I consistently outperform my other mice in Valorant with the NP-Mouse. The distances between 01, GPX, and M42 are 2, 3, and 4, respectively. The Aerox arrived yesterday, so I won't be able to place it until I get aftermarket feet because these suck butts; however, the shape is similar and could be very good. The RVU continues to be the most powerful union in the country. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've had the Viper Ultimate for about 5 months and I've discovered that it's the best of my entire collection to play with. I thought the Mini was superior at first, but it is a little less precise. For Valorant (which I play the most), I currently alternate between the RVU and the Vaxee Zygen NP 01, with the mini serving as my quick mouse for Apex and other games. With the Viper Ultimate, which includes the dock, on sale for 99 dollars this Black Friday, I recommend you take advantage of the opportunity. The price for the mini is only 29 dollars! This is completely insane right now. I'm having trouble finding a mouse with which I can play more effectively. br>br>At the moment, I'm playing Valorant, CSGO, Destiny 2, Apex Legends (though not as much as before the wraith nerfs), and a little Overwatch. I'm used to using a G305, which I adore. After purchasing this, I began to hit shots that I had previously been unable to hit. It took some time for me to adjust to the grip, but I now enjoy it. So much so that I went out and purchased a Viper Ultimate, though I must say that I prefer the mini. My hands are a good size for me--they're not too big and not too small I alternate between claw and fingertip on a 19cm x 9cm canvas. The cable is very light and flexible, and I use it with a Razer Bungie v2 and I honestly forget it's wired sometimes. M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues; M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues; M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues; M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues; M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues; M1,2,3,4 are really good, no The skates are among the best I've ever seen in terms of quality. The sensor is extremely precise, and the resolution error has to be among the best (I'd have to check). Don't be fooled by the Razer logo or the $40 price tag; this thing is fantastic. Now I wish I could sell my $150 Ultimate, which is only a week old and can't compete with its $40 younger sibling. If you're looking for one of the best mice available, believe me when I say that you've found it. One of them is pictured above.

Razer Mini (Razer Mini) - Glides on fabric but not on paper - It's like sandpaper on the center glide
3/5

The glide around optics in the center appear to be installed backwards or missing entirely. It has a sandpaper-like texture and prevents the mouse from moving on my fabric pad if I apply any downward force, such as my fingers' weight. br>br>Running my finger nail over the glides on the mouse's two ends makes no sound. They're silky smooth and slick to the touch. It makes a scratchy sound and is very rough when I run my finger nail across the center glide, around the optic eye. It's most likely a product mix-up on the part of the manufacturer. Someone at the factory must have gotten mixed up about which side faces the mousepad and installed them all backwards. I'm tempted to just take out the center glide and see if it's possible to reverse it. I'm not sure I want to go through the trouble of trying to return it because it's so cheap, but the buttons appear to be solid and accurate. When I shake the mouse, no sound is heard. There are no lags or inaccuracies that I can detect. br>br>I can use the mouse without the fabric on top of my Perixx aluminum mouse pad, but it's cold, which I don't like. It's obvious that the center glide is meant to be slick, not a friction-adding, motion-slowing zone. br>br>Mouse is very narrow, so it takes a while to get used to. My hands: 175mm to 180mm from the palm to the tip of the pointer finger. 185mm – 190mm from palm to middle finger tip Palm width varies between 95 and 100 millimeters. br>br> When it comes to mice, I prefer to use my fingers rather than my claws or my palms. This Razer Mini was purchased in conjunction with the new Coolermaster MM720. The MM720 is slightly too short, but it does have a nice fat width. On the CM MM720, I keep finding my fingers reaching past the left and right mouse buttons and having to reposition them. br>br>The Razer Mini is a comfortable length, but it is a little narrow in width, which could cause hand cramping for my hands. However, due to the length issue, I believe I will prefer the Razer Mini over the Coolermaster MM720 in the end. I also have: br>br>
- BenQ Zowie S2 (good size, bottom-mounted DPI and Polling buttons, but leaves a sticky residue on my fingers that drives me crazy). Even though I used tesa tape on both sides and on the buttons, the rest of the mouse, which I didn't cover, is still affected. Rubbing alcohol, distilled water, and dish soap were all used to no avail. Is it possible that some of the plastic chemicals are being leached out by my specific skin oils? Who knows, but it's a bummer that I can't use it)br>- For years, I relied on the BenQ Zowie ZA11. the EC1A (a little large for fingertip use but still functional)br>- Logitech G203 Prodigy (suitable for use with your fingers) a slew of different entry-level wireless modelsbr>- I believe it was a Corsair Sabre model (the center wheel stopped working accurately after a month, and whatever I was scrolling, usually a game menu, would roll back up a little when I stopped scrolling, which drove me insane)br>- Roccat Kova and a few other Roccat models (side buttons that I never use and keep hitting by accident)br>br>I am always on the lookout for a good, reliable, light-weight, small-form-factor mouse. br>br>I've only had the Razer Mini and the CM MM720 for a few hours, so I'll come back after some more time with them.
