Questions & Answers

Is it true that the rubber side grips become slick when your hands sweat?

My son had no problems and was able to play for an entire 8-hour period.

I've heard that the scroll wheel on the old model didn't work; is this problem fixed in this model?

I'm not sure if the older model worked or not, but the newer model that I purchased does.

What makes this one different from the G403 Prodigy?

The Hero appears to be the most recent model, with a maximum sensitivity of 25,600 dpi. Are there any other differences? In addition, the Prodigy does not have access to G Hub's software updates.

Is there a spring noise coming from one of the side buttons?

If you rub your finger against the edge of the side button by accident, it makes a springy noise. It makes a spring-like sound.

After 4 weeks of double clicking, Customer Support is atrocious
3/5

I don't usually write negative reviews, but this mouse from Logitech is a complete rip-off. br>After three clicks, it began to doubleclick. Use for four weeks. I file a claim with the manufacturer's warranty. They want proof that you double clicked. br>br>First, I used the website they sent to record my screen. This isn't sufficient. Upload to Google Drive and then upload once more. Then they tell you that you have to record the mouse click. br>br> As a result, I record both the mouse click and the screen showing the double-clicking issue at the same time. They then tell me that I need to record the mouse clicks and the screen without using software designed to record multiple video streams at the same time. br>br>Customer service is atrocious. Despite the fact that I have sent them three separate proofs of the problem, they have yet to assist me. br>br>If your mouse double clicks, you're out of luck, and Logitech's new products have a history of questionable quality.

Logitech has been used - Hardware that is deplorable
3/5

It pains me to have to write this review after using Logitech exclusively for more than a decade, but after this G403 failure in less than three months, I believe it is time to move away from their lack of quality engineering / capabilities and into another product. br>I had previously purchased G203's this year and last year, each one lasting approximately 4 - 5 months. It had been 5 months since the left and right mouse buttons began to have problems clicking. Clicking is either not possible to read, or it is not possible to read at all. I was fed up with the issues I was having with their products; previously, I had been using their G1 / G3 Mice, which lasted nearly 3 - 4 years. 4 years without a problem, and failures were usually due to damage to the optical lenses or a connection error. br>Recently, and I mean recently, every single mouse I've purchased from Walmart, Meijer, or Best Buy has failed within three months of purchase; the RMA process is a nightmare; a first mouse I sent nearly a year ago was returned less than a month ago, and was still having the push button failure (was untouched), or the technician didn't care enough to replace the button with a new one or try to figure out the problem. br>After having an issue with the Hero G403 16K, I received a message from Logitech today stating that I had failed to register my product on their website within 90 days and that they were unable to RMA the product. br> (br>This was never an issue with my previous G203. ) br>Logitech, shame on you. Since 2004, I've only used your keyboards, mice, headsets, and speakers. br>And now, after all of these problems, failures, and downright despicable pieces of technology you're trying to sell, I'm glad to be rid of you. br>br>I'm going to Razer to see if they can help me out. br>br>Peace out, Logitech; unless you want to keep repairing / RMA'ing / Replacing them on a month-to-month basis, I strongly advise against purchasing the G403 / G203 Mice.

I bought a new product and got a used one
3/5

30/11/2019br>br>To summarize, I have decided to return the mouse (which is in the process of being returned) and have already requested a refund,br>br>Reason: Honestly, this mouse isn't bad, it has a good sensor (I didn't notice any difference between this one and the previous mouse I had with the PMW 3360), but the shape is what bothers me the most, from the moment I grabbed it, This mouse is TALL and very big, it has a big hump in the back that touches the back of my hand, I use the fingertip grip and I'm used to moving my mouse for flicks with my fingers rather than with my 5cm long and 10cm wide, I stated in my original review (a paragraph separate from the Used product description) that returning this mouse was a hassle, that yes, I had to pay 12$ to ship the mouse back to the US and then get a refund from Amazon, that I was 12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12$-$12 Bottom line, not a bad mouse, but there are better mice out there for a similar price, Model O, G Wolves, Hati, G303 lightspeed, and so on. The "HERO SENSOR" branding on this mouse is more of a gimmick, it provides close to no difference compared to a 3366 Sensor (keep in mind that there is barely any difference between the 3360 and the 3366). The Hero sensor makes a lot more sense to be built into Logitech's wireless mouse lineup because it uses less energy and thus favors mouse time usage when used wirelessly to save battery. However, because this G403 is a wired mouse, it is not worth upgrading if you already own a G403 with the 3366. Also, the side grips are extremely grippy, to the point where I found them irritating at times, but other people may prefer them; it's a matter of personal preference. br>br>Fast summary of the original review: br>When I first opened the mouse, the skates had marks on them, as if they had been used and the product had been returned; however, the product works fine.

I'm ecstatic! I switched from a small wireless Logitech mouse to this guy, so the difference was significant for me
5/5

br>Because my hands are small, I needed a mouse that was not too large or clunky. I like the size and feel of it in my hand; it's not too big or too small. br>I do a lot of graphic design work on my computer, and this mouse has made a huge difference in my productivity. I also play a lot of video games and enjoy being able to switch between my DPI settings. Maybe it's because I upgraded from a mediocre wireless mouse to a fantastic corded mouse, but my DKR has also improved. So cool. br>br>I didn't think I'd be interested in being able to change the colors of the lights, but I really like it. The GPro products' interface is very user-friendly, and the presets include some cool gradient effects. br>br>For me, the only drawback is that I sometimes hit the back button on the mouse by accident, but I just need to get used to it and change the key bindings in games so I don't pop my ult too early. Overall, I'm glad I bought this mouse and would recommend it! cbr>br>.
