This product was purchased so that I could watch DVDs on my laptop. Plug- Under Windows 10, and-play was a breeze. I needed to download a DVD viewer, and the drive's instructions were clear and easy to follow. The carrying case is a nice addition that appears to be well-made. It enables me to tuck everything away neatly. It is highly recommended.
This DVD player is quite good. It's very handy that it comes with a USB cable, though it could be a little longer. Microphone is included as well. USB to USB Adapter You should be able to use it with newer laptops because it comes with a C adapter. mobile phones with USB ports c. It appeared to be quite quick as well. I tried three older DVDs, and none of them skipped or had any loading lag time. My purchase has satisfied me.
My computer has been upgraded to Windows 10. The player would not work if it weren't for the app. I tried a few free apps and found them to be unusable. I found an app that costs $8 per year and is very useful. It's ideal for my road trips now that it's in a case.
I believe I am one of the few people I know who still uses the - DVD player and burner are required. A portable DVD player is ideal for me when it comes to burning and uploading discs. I do a lot of video editing and recently purchased a new laptop on which I wanted to install some of my old software as well as drivers for older programs I have. I haven't had this product for long, but so far it's been great. It's very quiet, unlike my previous external DVD player. It has a nice appearance to it. It appears to be from the video game Deus EX, particularly the later installments. I really like that game's style, and I really like this game's style. It comes with a travel case that is convenient for storage and travel. So far, it's been flawless, but I've only had it for a few months and haven't tried to burn any discs, so if I run into any problems in the coming months, I'll let you know.
This unit is slow as hell when it comes to downloading music, if it works at all. Several CDs would not play. If I had to do it all over again, I would purchase a different model. When I contacted Amazon for assistance, I was given the runaround and told that I needed to download a program other than iTunes. That's why I'm looking for a new program to install on my computer. NOT!.
Plug it in and it will format your laptop automatically, according to the instructions. It didn't work, and nothing would work based on information found on the internet. There was nothing on the internet about how to fix this name brand except for someone complaining that theirs wouldn't work, but there were no instructions that helped because their instructions didn't allow for options to be given (grayed out). If it's grayed out, you won't be able to do anything. Purchase is not recommended. I purchased a replacement Dell and it worked perfectly right away.
It works perfectly and quickly, and it comes with a case. Don't worry about losing the cord because it's fully enclosed in the product and easily attaches and detaches from its hidden location beneath the device.
The cd drawer on the first one I ordered wouldn't open, so I had to return it. The item was reordered the same day, and it arrived a few days later. So far, the one that has been reordered has worked well. To be able to play a dvd or other media, I had to download a media driver, which isn't surprising given that we're in the process of switching from a tower computer to a laptop.
