The experiment worked so I created a few 100GB coasters first
4/5

My goal is therefore to do that. My business has 90 gigs of data (word, excel, pdf, etc) that I want to backup on a disc and then store offsite in case of fire. I also want to be able to insert the disc into any computer and access the files without having to load any software. With the LG BD-65, I have the following capabilities A BU20N slim drive is in my HP SFF desktop with a i7 processor. Also, I wanted the disc to be permanently readable, which means you couldn't change it after it had been burned. I put all of my files into a single directory on my PC, which is equipped with an SSD drive. Afterward, I put the disc in the drive (Windows 10 OS) and chose "With a CD/DVD player" (Mastered) instead of "Like a USB Drive" that will allow me to make changes once the files are burned. Once all of the files had been copied onto the disc, I removed them from the computer. My computer had to fix a few names because they were not compatible with the CD burning standard. After about ten minutes, I was ready to burn the CD. Then, after about five seconds, I get an error that says it did not work and the disc is probably faulty. It costs $17 for this In older days, there were lots of buffer underlays on coasters because single layer CD media came out only once, and back then I used to burn discs because of that. The first thing I did to resolve this was to check the firmware. It was 1. 1. Fortunately, it wasn't a problem. The latest firmware is 00, but there has never been a newer version. There was a Verbatum M-sized hard drive that I had at the time I tried writing a new set of discs with my 90gb and the 4 25gb discs burned just fine as well.

I tried it again so I could be sure it worked. In just five seconds we'll have another coaster worth $17. My initial thought was that it might be the drive, but I know this model is no longer available. My order was for an Asus full height BW-5000 that appears to be the only kind of drive you can get Item 16D1X It is an external drive that is powered by the Pioneer mechanism. Trying to burn it with that drive. The coaster cost $17 five seconds after it was purchased. After I loaded the software supplied with the Asus drive, I had to install It is a proprietary 90gb image created by that program, so I would need to use it to read the disc, but there was no point in using it while I was trying to copy anything. Approximately 30 minutes after the file has been processed and about 10 minutes after the actual write time. The price of this coaster is $17. At this point, I had only one disc left. Eventually, I decided to give it a shot. It once again went into the "Like a USB Drive" box. Preparation of the disc took place. Following that, I copied files to the disc for about six hours, and then the disc was burned completely. If I put that disc into any computer that runs Windows XP or a later version, I could read it. The only drawback is that the disc can be changed. There was a possibility that all files could be deleted. It is of course As a result, you won't get the space back. Actually, all your files are still on your drive just the FAT table has been altered, but it's still very I can live with the Life File System version of the disc for now. Using the LG BD-ROM or the LG Blu-ray disc, I was able to add files to the disc Is there a Asus BW-200NAS or a RE BU20N drive? Item 16D1X I have a U16X External Blu-ray player As a result, both drives are compatible with the 100GB Verbatum M-100 The media on the disc. You can do what I did if you're doing the same thing. It is also likely that you will succeed if you choose "Like a USB Drive" rather than "With a CD/DVD player. " I had one other problem with the Asus BW-P Item 16D1X Using a USB 3 port, I connected it to the computer. It happened when I plugged in the USB 0 port and after that, my mouse (logitec wireless mouse) began to skip around the screen as if its data stream had been As a precaution, I changed the batteries just to ensure that the battery was not going bad. In just seconds, when I unplugged the ASUS drive, I had a working computer again. Now, it may be that the logitec mouse is to blame, but I have connected lots of other USB devices to my computer and I never experienced that problem with the mouse. Because of this, it garnered 4 stars from me.

You must buy a Blu-ray player for use with it I hope you enjoy the The majority of optical media can be used with this product
5/5

This is an inaccurate representation of the fact The answer is yes for all CD media DVD media is supported by all DVD players
I agree to all Blu-ray releases A medium with rays For M, it's not at all a possibility The media on the disc. There is a new version of the Firmware - It's date time! It is not possible to use any of the included software. This package contains all required software, but none of it is installed It's date time! There is no included software with the device so it must be purchased separately, at a cost of great expense. The drive does not work with a M-type laptop as advertised I need a disk!.

Plays my movies but not my music
3/5

The unit will be available for purchase on 3 In addition, the on /off switch is located on the rear of the unit, which is already a large unit in size. It's great to be able to hook up via USB. I used the unit to install a program on my computer, worked fine. I decided to view a movie, and I received a message saying the software was out of date and that I could upgrade for $64 so movies would A 32" HP has been installed on my computer for about a week now. My understanding is that Asus products should not be sold out of date, since I paid $159 for Blu-ray player As I went to the web sight to write rays, I received the message "Web sight is down, try again later". As of now, I am unable to run any of my movies. I don't want to spend an additional $64 on it if it can be downloaded free.

Update to software is needed and you should not be rushed
5/5

Although I initially had to upgrade the enclosed software to use the 100g discs that I also bought, I was able to do so after doing so. In my opinion, my only complaint is the time it takes to write 100g, which is close to 12 hours per disk, which seems to be the maximum capacity of a 100g disc. It is also important to keep in mind that the time it takes may also be influenced by the network speed between the computer and the NAS.

I recommend this drive to anyone who does not have a DVD or Blu-ray player The burning process is not possible inside it, so he bought this one for his computer since it cannot go inside
5/5

This method works for us because we don't trust the cloud to backup our data. Blu-ray discs are used and Nero software is used To access the backup, it needs to be connected to the internet, however I'm not sure Besides backing up to the cloud, we also use In our rural area, there is limited broadband access, and dealing with computers is not something I'm comfortable with.

It works perfectly, and it's easy to install
5/5

My package arrived in December and I installed it. I'm satisfied with its performance. In terms of the software or the mechanical workings, I encounter no problems. With this drive, I have a number of choices for software, and I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend it to others. If I had to buy it again, I would.

Blu-ray quality is excellent You can also use Ray Blu-ray Player External 16x by Asus I have no problems with my Blu-ray Drive
5/5

I had my old computer for ten years before it died. As a result, I bought the same brand as my old one since ten years of use is enough for me. The failure of a batch or an incomplete burn is unproblematic for me. When it comes to burning, I use Nero.
