I've only used them to transfer photos from an SD card, which was a quick process.
I don't think the cold will be a problem. I've kept some near zero degrees Fahrenheit (Utah mountains) and they were fine; I'm not sure if extreme heat is bad for them.
Hello, you can read and write to these USB flash drives, and you can read or edit the data directly on them. They can be formatted in a number of different ways. ExFAT is the default format, but it can be changed to exFAT or NTFS.
Copy music to it by plugging it into a computer's USB port.

I tested it on two different laptops, one running Windows and the other running Mac. It also doesn't work on either of these platforms. It locks up computers, shuts them down at random, and causes a great deal of anxiety by making you believe that the "blue screen of death" is just around the corner. I received an unsolicited email from Meecher (attached) describing how completely non-conformist he is. Their flash drive appears to be in good working order. It isn't working on your computer even when it appears to be. The transfer rate of copied files simply stops for minutes at a time, which is ridiculous. It's not worth it to save a few dollars. ScanDisk or another reputable brand is a good choice.
The delivery truck arrived in just a few days. So far, I've only used two of the five, and they both function properly. I'm pleased with the speed of delivery and storage, and I appreciate the different colors that help me identify what I've stored on them. I have about thirty golf instruction videos on my blue one. I'm transferring old VCRs onto my hard drive using the appropriate software and a converting VCR machine, and then I'm putting them on my blue USB thumb drive, and I'm storing photos from an old computer on my yellow thumb drive. These thumb drives are fantastic for my needs. In addition, I'm putting the golf videos on DVD. R disks. This is a small business that would be delighted to accept your orders at a very reasonable price; give them a try; I believe you will be pleased with your purchase.
Use these only for quick file swapping and don't put your trust in them for anything important. I've had a lot of problems with these. For example, the 32GB drive is completely empty, and it says a 2GB file is too big to transfer to the disk. Before resetting Windows, I backed up all of my documents and images to this stick, and when I plugged it back in, I was prompted to format the stick, but it kept saying there was no disk inserted. To get this stick to read correctly again, I had to format it, erasing all of the data. DO NOT BELIEVE! Better yet, stay away and get yourself a dependable stick.
It was easy to get them back. The fact that the drive has a tab to protect it from damage is appealing to me. This is a product that I would purchase again.
After my father passed away, I used it to save family photos and videos from his computer. It's a fantastic way to spread the word about them. The variety of colors is appealing to me. The only thing that could improve them is if there was a way to permanently label them. However, I will simply use my label maker and reapply the label as needed.
With Windows 10 or 7, I was unable to format one of the blue drives. The other four worked perfectly. br>br>The manufacturer suggested that I try formatting the blue drive, but formatting failed. They then sent me a new black drive. br>br>I was impressed by their quick response. br>br>Thank you.
The transfer speeds of this product are extremely variable. It takes much longer to transfer a file than a standard USB drive, and the transfer speed has been known to drop to zero for no apparent reason. I was having trouble transferring multiple files at the same time. It's a low-key affair in general. I would not buy this product again and would not recommend it.
(update) I have some faster 8GB flash drives and a Samsung 32GB, but this one isn't one of them. You should be aware that memory chips come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and there's a reason why this one is so inexpensive for its 128GB capacity. On my Macbook, I needed to move a few large folders of music files. The progress bar jumps all over the place, from ten to one hundred percent. For 25 GB of files, it took 46 minutes. It begins quickly, then hangs, then copies a little more before hanging again, taking an eternity. br>br>I reformatted the stick to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format and turned off spotlight in the hopes of indexing the files while they were being copied, but it didn't help. The activity monitor indicates that 8-hours have passed. Write speeds of 24 megabits per second aren't particularly impressive. It doesn't even come close to completing the task.
