I tested these and four of the ten didn't work, and one had a virus on it. They appeared to have been used before. The ones that worked had random folders on them, in addition to the one with a virus. It was a huge let down.
- edit- br>Since writing this, the seller's responsiveness and willingness to make things right have impressed me. That demonstrates how important customer service is to them.
I bought these for a class I was teaching and handed them out to my adult students, who were stuffed with manuals and forms of all kinds. They were a hit with everyone. They have the appearance, feel, and behavior of a high-quality product. br>Update: I haven't had any issues with data retrieval in the months that I've been using it. These are fantastic. The colored metal portion swings open to reveal the USB port, then closes to protect the port. The flash drive is shown closed/covered in the product image, so the USB end is not visible, but it is present. Each colored flash drive comes with a wristlet that matches or complements the color of the flash drive. The wristlet is made of a nice braided material that is of good quality. It's not made of plastic, but it has a soft, durable, and flexible feel to it. It's so convenient to wear this as a bracelet on my wrist so I don't lose it before getting it back into my computer bag or purse.
The best bargain of all time. I made a mistake and ordered digital downloads instead of receiving a digital code for some movies. When I was downloading all of the movies, these Flash drives came in handy. My kids can now watch movies by connecting the Flash drive to their television and selecting the movie they want to watch when I have a blonde moment.
I was so happy with the quality and variety of the thumb drives that I just ordered another set for my father for Father's Day! I'll keep buying them for my customers - AN AMAZING PRODUCT!.
Wristbands are included in the price of 0. I usually have a lot of photos to back up or store, and these are perfect. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not going to be a quick transfer. The fact that it runs on USB 2 is the only disadvantage. This is a slow transfer of 0 bytes. In comparison to many other 2, it is not excessively slow. I have a total of 0 disks. I can transfer and read data at speeds ranging from 8 to 11 MB/s, which isn't bad, but if you want something faster, you'll need to upgrade to 3. Most 2. The average transfer rate of the 0 thumb drives I've used was around 4 to 5 megabytes per second. These thumb drives are well-built, and you can easily spin the USB out and back in. UPDATE: After only a month, the spinning joint had become extremely loose, and the thumb drive could no longer be held. It still works, and I could simply remove the thumb drive from the metal, but I'd like the strap to remain in place. It's possible that the spin will lose its friction and just flop around. What's nice about these is that they're color-coded, making them much easier to spot. For two 32-gigabyte thumb drives, the price is also very reasonable. I double-checked and confirmed that all of the thumb drives are 32 GB. They do get warm when transferring a large number of files, but not excessively so, especially because they have metal layers. It's essentially a plug-and-play USB device that works on both Windows 7 and Mac OS X. The packaging is extremely simple, consisting solely of a plastic bag. There is also a built-in loop that you can use to attach it to a key chain or lanyard, which is convenient, and wrist bands are included so you can easily wear the thumb drive on your wrist. I like having those lanyards because they allow me to hang the thumb drives, making them easier to find and store. The thumb drives all have 32 GB of storage space, making them ideal for storing photos or videos, though keep in mind that transferring all of that data when needed takes time. The thumb drives themselves are well-made, with light indicators that indicate transfer and connection. You might not even notice it because the light is so dim. Overall, this is a good deal on a large quantity of thumb drives. They are suitable for a reasonable storage capacity and have an acceptable transfer rate for a 2. 0 and are excellent to have on hand if you require additional thumb drives. My only complaint is that the spinning mechanism wore out extremely quickly.
One of the main points of contention on this item was the price. It's perfect for all of my different embroidery designs.
They were affordable for the amount of space you get, which I liked. I was disappointed that this flash drive did not work in some of my key components, such as my car audio system and my student's 3D printer. I need to order a large number of items from a different company.
I didn't want to leave a review because I didn't feel good, but when they all started to go bad, I changed my mind. We purchased these USBs in March of this year. br>At first, everything appeared to be in order, but then one of the employees complained that it wasn't loaded into the computer. br>As a result, we assumed it was simply a bad one. br>It's not a major issue. br>However, they all did the same thing one after the other. One we tried would either not work at all or cause all of our files to vanish at the same time. br>It was as if the USB drive had been emptied. When we realized it wasn't going to be like that. br>As a result, we purchased new USBs from a different vendor and have had no issues.
