It is not known if it will replace the main disk. It works very well as an expandable unit, as far as I know.

The question is whether the Acer Aspire A315-series will work with it Where does 51 come from?

Good morning, my friend. Yes, of course. This will be supported if necessary. This will increase the speed at which Windows and applications open

What is the compatibility of this disk with an Acer Aspire A515-S ?

Thank you for joining us today. I do not know how to tell you about it, but CRUCIAL has a program in which you can put information from your computer and this program gives you a better orientation. It may work for you or you may choose one that works best for you.

It is flat out false to state that the warranty is valid

Our business typically orders SSDs multiple times a month, typically in stacks of 10 at a time. During the installation of a customer's computer, we discovered that one of the drives was no longer working. We then created an RMA ticket on Crucial's website. After arriving at their office, we discovered you would be able to issue an RMA only if you had a "Material Number. ". The number appeared only at one precise location near the UPC on the packaging, not on the drive itself. A SSD ordered from Amazon does not come in the same packaging. Is there a serial number on this? Part number doesn't work, why? The button does not What is the model Not at all. Who are you? That's all I got. The materials number is all that counts. Likewise, if you order from Amazon, you will not receive packing that includes the material number. In order to proceed, I clicked the link marked "Terms and Conditions". The page you requested has been moved. As a result I clicked on "Contact Customer Service". This page has been permanently deleted. Do you have any sense of humor? In order to get in touch with an agent, since I could not use the automatic form, I opened a live chat. I was then interrogated by the lady about "how do I KNOW it's bad?"? My original plan was to fix it myself, so how did I go about it?". After answering all of his questions, that wasn't good enough for me, even though I run a computer repair business. I like it. As a way of getting me to say that I could not be certain my tests weren't lying to me, he said to me. A second time. Make sure to. Here it is. As a result. I am living! I told the person that after THIRTY minutes of her trying to tell me what tests I ran and how ridiculous all this was in the first place, I ended the conversation and refunded the money through Amazon. My company will now order all of its SSDs exclusively from another company going forward. The company lost literally hundreds upon hundreds of sales because their RMA policy was not applied to every single drive. This is a warning. Then, if it is greater than In the event that I, a professional IT technician, cannot satisfy myself that I know when a SSD is bad, I hold little hope that the majority of consumers will find anything better than a nightmare runaround in trying to get this shady company to honor its.

After 90 days, the drive dies on its own
3/5

The device did not restart after it had been working for about 90 days and it gave me magic smoke for the very first time in my many According to an inspection of the machine, the drive had gotten hot. It is said on Crucial's website that it can't offer an RMA if Amazon support is ended after 90 days. Our customer support is only open from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. To do a return, I have to take a day off from work so that I can do it on F during business hours.

You can buy WD Blue 3D for the same price
3/5

The product performs well, it is faster than a hard drive. It tests well on speed tests, but when you need to perform something larger than 50 GB, it gets at the limit. The drive slows down by 5x as soon as new games are installed from Steam or large files are copied to or from it We are talking about 10 MB/s for a long time. Get an external hard drive such as the WD Blue 3D if you can afford it. It is a much better deal. To demonstrate the 2TB version I purchased, see the following screenshots.

The upgrade is great and the speed is as advertised
5/5

The laptop drive I was using was a 5400rpm drive but I upgraded For Read & Write, the old drive got a score of 78 on CyrtalMark Seq. While this drive is getting a 75 Read rating, it's getting a 559 Write rating I'm writing you. The boot time has been reduced from a minute to six I would highly recommend it.

Installs quickly, is quiet, and is surprisingly easy to use

It is rare that a new product performs exactly as it is Stylish and powerful, this Crucial BX500 SSD drive has 2TB of storage. Let me start by saying that I have a slightly different PC setup to the norm. This desktop computer is one I built myself several years ago, which I fitted with a dual-processor system The boot configuration is as follows The 64-bit version of Windows 10 To develop applications, I keep a bit of my hard drive on my main drive The 32-bit version of Windows 7 A bit is put in another to allow compatibility with older music recording software and hardware interfaces. Having possessed two Seagate 2TB drives for many years, I was concerned that they would soon reach the end of their useful lives The slower they got each year when more data was being collected on them, the slower they were. It was my first time replacing a hard drive, so I wanted to see how it went. I am experiencing SSD for the first time. After installing the Crucial drive in an Icy Dock 2, I immediately popped it into the docking station. Compared to 5, only A 5 inch adapter case was installed in the open drive bay, and I connected it to the open Serial ATA port on my motherboard using an extra SATA cable I had lying around (Note this was a recent purchase. The drive does not come with a cable, so I had to plug it into an open SATA connector, close the case, and power on My next step was to download the Crucial Storage Executive drive information app and the Acronis cloning application from the Crucial website. It was good to see that the SSD drive was now recognized by Windows 10 and that it was apparently working. My next step was to select the "C" drive in Acronis True Image, launch the app and move it to the top. Cloning my Windows 10 boot drive took me several hours, but I was able to do so after choosing "Manual" as a partition option and selecting "As Is" instead of "Proportional", since both of my old and new drives are the same size. I turned off the PC, opened the case again, removed the old boot drive, and restarted it. Next, the big test. I turned on the PC and turned off the old boot drive again. Normally, I would have had the option to choose between Windows 10 and Windows 7 to boot from. Instead, I got the following Uh oh. You need to reboot and select the proper boot device. In any case, it was a simple solution to this problem. Once again, I rebooted and this time I selected the option to open the BIOS. Under its "BOOT" menu, I found that my new Crucial SSD drive was listed with its serial number beginning with "CTxx". Seagate drives are now prefixed with "ST", instead of "ST". I found out that disconnecting the old Seagate drive caused the BIOS to move my empty DVD drive into the very first boot position after it had been confused by disconnecting my old Seagate drive. In order to use the new Crucial drive, I simply moved it to the first position, saved the settings, and rebooted. In this case I was given the option to choose either my Windows 10 default drive, or my old Windows 7 music recording drive. I was pleased to see that the cloning process did not wipe out my custom boot configuration. It was amazing how fast Windows 10 loaded onto my new SSD drive when I selected the Windows 10 boot option - Then there's the speed with which bulky programs like Microsoft Visual Studio now run. This is awesome! This is exciting news for me. Now I am ready to replace the other Seagate hard drive. As this one has an old, obsolete firmware, I need to replace it next. Let's see how that goes with Windows 7. Please feel free to contact me if I need anything.

PlayStation 4 Pro has been upgraded! I've recently upgraded the hard drive on my PS4 from a 5400 rpm mechanical drive to a 2TB SSD, which made a huge difference in game load times and the overall performance of the operating system
