The low-profile CPU cooler features four heat pipes and a 120mm PWM fan for efficient heat transfer from the processor.
For extreme CPU cooling performance, the 120mm PWM fan features Low-Noise for automatic speed control and ultra-quiet operation. Max. 76 gallons per minute of air flow 15 dB; 16 CFM; 16 CFM; 16 CFM; 16 CFM; 16 CFM; 2-32. 5dB(A)
Even on mini-ITX motherboards, there is no interference with memory mounting.
Four direct contact heat pipes with exclusive direct contact Technology effectively dissipate heat.
Most Intel processors are supported by the CPU air cooler.

Questions & Answers

Is the thermal paste up to snuff, or should I invest in a third-party alternative?

On an AMD 5600X processor that was already installed and causing BSOD events when playing high-demand video games, I replaced the stock AMD Wraith cooler. The ID cooling SE-Paste that comes with the ID cooling SE-Paste that comes with the ID cooling SE- 224- The XT went on easily over the small amount of AMD paste that was still on the CPU, and the new cooler solved all of my problems.

I noticed that the heatink has copper pipes as well as a white metal, which I believe is aluminum. Is using liquid metal on this a good idea?

Don’t

What is the difference between this and the Ryzen 1600 af stealth cooler or the Ryzen 3600 stock cooler?

It's a huge improvement. It was able to stop BSODs from happening in my system, which had both a 3600 and a 5600X processor.

Is there a backplate included with this, or do I need to use my own am4 backplate?

The package also includes a backplate.

Great value for the money and surprisingly good at what it does
4/5

Examine your ID- SE- COOLING 224- The rgb version of XT is not included.
Pros: br>Except for one issue (see cons below), well machined and feels solid. br>Nearly silent most of the time. br>Easy mounting and fan attachment (ridiculously so)br>Fan sits on cooler with more than enough room for the RAM even if they have tall heatspreaders br>On my Ryzen 3600, the stock cooler (stealth) resulted in a significant temperature drop. When video encoding in handbrake, it used to get up to 95 degrees Celsius, but now it only gets up to 74 degrees Celsius. Idle is a "frosty" 33 degrees, with gaming never exceeding 65 degrees. Most of the time, it's 1. br>br>Cons: (Only two)br>The heatsink is well constructed, but the tops of the heatpipes are not smoothed and rounded as shown in the photos. Instead, they come to a tapered point, adding 0. 5mm to 1. It is not quite the 154mm advertised because the overall height has been increased by 0mm. Many people will wonder if it fits in a Lian- Li pc- 011 with the side on, but it only comes close to touching the glass.

At 100% fan speed fan speed the noise level is on par with a stock cooler running at 100% and there is a bit of coil whine. Overall though To summarize, I had heard of Id- It was cool, but I didn't own any of their products. So, despite the fact that it is still relatively new to the market, I took a chance on this cooler based on limited reviews and was pleasantly surprised. It's a fantastic product, and I believe we'll hear a lot more about it in the future. Future cooling is expected.

For the price of $25, this is a fantastic CPU cooler
5/5

Wow, it's hard to believe this CPU cooler (with fan) costs only $25. I have a GAMMAX 400 CPU cooler, which is also excellent, but the quality and ease of installation far outweigh it. br>br>The fin array is sturdy and not at all flimsy, and it easily clears the RAM slots on my B450 board, as well as the heat-sink. (Aesthetically) speaking, all of the pipes are stunning. Rubber inserts are included in the ID cooler 120mm fan to reduce vibration when it is turned on. br>br>As for the cooling, I used an AMD Wraith (non-Kaby Lake) CPU cooler. It was around 37-38 degrees Celsius at idle with the LED) AM4 cooler. When not in use, the temperature is 41 degrees Celsius, and when gaming, the temperature is around 61 degrees Celsius. My Ryzen 5 2600 (non-Kaby Lake) processor is now cool enough to use this CPU cooler. X) at 28°C idle and upper 40°C while gaming for $25! br>br>I would recommend this CPU cooler to anyone because it is such a good value for the money.

The atmosphere is calm and relaxing
5/5

When stress tested, my niece's R5 3600 reached nearly 90°C in the Masterbox Q300l with the stock cooler. I tweaked the case to improve airflow and dropped the temperature to 80°C, which was still too high. br>I bought this cooler after seeing it recommended in a pcpartspicker build by Buildzoid of AHOC. br>It was the best $24 I've ever spent. Not only did it immediately lower the temperature by 15°C, but it did so without exceeding 1500rpm on the fan. To be honest, I can't say enough good things about this cooler. I'm thinking about getting one for my upcoming R7 3700X build. br>Below are before and after photos of the CPU temperaturesbr>p. Don't use the thermal paste that comes with it.

Very well-designed and a fantastic value for money
5/5

I'm putting together a low-cost system using AMD Ryzen processors. Despite the fact that the CPU comes with a cooler, I wanted something more powerful and quieter. I examined nearly every cooler under $50 on the market. It's usually a basic tower with a 120mm (or sometimes 140mm) fan at this price point. Many models still lack mounting hardware for the AM4 socket, which surprised me. Many AM4 compatible models come with clip type mounting that you attach to the plastic retention modules on the motherboard, which I believe is poorly designed because you exert a lot of force on the CPU when installing the cooler, and it may not be perfectly centered on the CPU. br>I also discovered that some models place the tower at a 90-degree angle to the memory modules (rather than parallel), causing air to be pushed up or down rather than towards the case's rear fan. Because these models are installed with the tower parallel to the memory socket on Intel motherboards, this isn't always obvious from the description. br>In the end, I settled on two $25 models with a good mounting system. I started with the other brand because the ID- There were no coolers available. The ID-card was received a few days later. Cooling was in stock, so I ordered it just to see what it was like. I'm glad I took the opportunity to do so. The AM4 socket mounting system is one of the best available. It utilizes the motherboard's original backplate, which simplifies the process. All that's left is to put the standoffs and AMD brackets in place. The cooling tower is also better built and finished than the other cooler, with the fins better secured against bending. br>The cooling tower is attached to the brackets with spring loaded screws, which, in my opinion, will provide much more even pressure and will not loosen up over time. br>The cooling tower is also better built and finished than the other cooler, with the fins better secured against bending. If I had to pick one flaw, it would be that the base's finish shows machining marks despite feeling smooth to the touch. Overall, this is a fantastic cooler for the price of $25. You can read about the performance on technology websites. Overall, it's a great value for the money.

Wow, what a bargain! For around $25, this is an incredible deal! The Intel 115X is easy to install and has a well-designed user interface
5/5

Because the AM4 uses AMD's built-in back plate, it should be even easier. Cooling is also excellent for keeping my older 2600k at 29c idle and 59c at 100% load. The included fan appears to be adequate in terms of noise and cooling efficiency. Because of the small footprint, there is no ram interference. I needed to upgrade my case and power supply, and I didn't want to reinstall the noisy water cooler, so I went with this instead. Initially, I was considering the classic 212 evo, but the installation guides turned me off, and I'm glad I didn't because this was a breeze to set up.
