It is not certain if they would be any less efficient nor longer lasting than another. Despite loving mine, I do not use it as much as I should. It's easy to put them on and take them off and they're of high quality.
Thank you for your interest in Size It will weight about 3 oz or 348 g, but they will be lighter than normal spikes because the chains will not connect them. The best gear store, Gear Co-op

Living in southern New Hampshire, I work in the health care field. Hiking for one hour is my favorite thing to do The average person spends 3 hours per day on the computer. I have used many different ice traction devices in the past. Now there is little snow but lots of ice. I had to use snow shoes in the past but now I must use They are the best I've ever used, as most had chains that broke after only a few months, caused by snow getting stuck in them and building up. It's easy to put on and easy to take There is no ice or snow to build up. It is not an issue for me to hike on ice trails (at the age of 74, this is important).
Winter trail hiking is the reason I bought these. When there is no snow or dry snow cover, they perform perfectly on icy trails. The only drawback is that if there is wet snow on top of it, the snow gets packed around and over the teeth, which makes them less effective. Overall, I'm happy with this product. The medium fits my size 10 men's hiking boots perfectly.
A well-established sporting goods store that carries high quality products sold these at a local store and they carry them for a reasonable price. Due to the end of the season, the only remaining size was one for my wife, but not for The ones I got are without a doubt the best ones I've ever owned. She bought hers there, and I found them on Amazon in my size. There is no chance they will slip off as the rubber pulls over the toe well enough to prevent it, and it also comes up sufficiently on the heel to prevent it from slipping. These spikes are made of metal-free stainless steel, with no metal on the bottom to rust and fall apart like our old spikes did. You can hear them as they cut through the ice with each step, and they do not slip like our old ones did. This is a product I would wholeheartedly recommend and have already referred it to some neighbors and friends. It is an incredibly dangerous time right now My opinion is that this is the most at-risk age group for falls, so anything we can do to reduce the likelihood of falling is worthwhile. The product is not cheap, but once you compare it to the cost of a hospital stay, it makes sense. There is just one more thing to check whether that will be sufficient quality to last for a long time.
The right side crampons that should have been included with this shipment were not included, as indicated by the label on the toe of the footwear. My hope is that it was a fluke and I'll replace them.
I wore these over my trail runners and they didn't move around at all while walking. During a hike on a rocky trail with patches of ice, I used these shoes. At first, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to grip the rocks, but they gripped well after the initial sliding. I saw these on the ice and they were awesome. The ground was solid under my feet with every step. The spikes did not stick to the ground no matter if it was flat, incline, or decline. They did not stay on the ground when walking through leaves and pine needles. This is a great product in general!.
A good job seems to have been done on the 5 of them. The 12 fits my Merrell Moab 2 mid GTX size XL and I just received these today. I like the five shoes very much. There is a snug fit, but they aren't too tight, so they aren't difficult to put In addition, I have the Stabilicers Hike XP, which is good for off-trail hiking, but I find it a bit aggressive for their use on hard surfaces, so I expect these to be more appropriate. I'll be happy with them, so long as they stand the test of time.
On a day where one wouldn't be able to be outside without micro spikes, I used mine this week. When winter comes, these are absolutely essential for anyone who has a dog and lives in an area where there is snow and ice. I love how easy it is to put them on and take them The way I think of them is like the way I think of In times like these, you are glad you have them since life would be a lot harder without them.
The perfect thing to walk my dog with. On my mountain road, which doesn't get treated like other roads, I live in a remote area. During the winter, it gets slippery due to the accumulation of ice. A pair of crampons like this is perfect for digging in. Unless I step on my pup's paws, that's all I have to worry about.
