Questions & Answers

Is the toe made of steel?

DOESN'T HAVE A COMPOSITE TOE AT ALL. JUST A SNEAKER is a phrase that is used to describe a pair of shoes

Are these able to withstand water?

No, but my feet have remained dry unless I step in a deep puddle.

2E means?

In men's shoes, 2E is the standard for wide. 2A is narrow in women's shoes but there is no 2A in men's or children's shoes, B is standard in women's shoes but B is narrow in men's and children's shoes, D is next and is standard in men's and children's sizes but it is wide in women's shoes, 2E is next and is wide in men's and children's sizes but it is considered Extra wide when labeled on woman's shoes, and 4E is the largest and is the I don't think women's shoes have a 4E, but I've seen them in toddler shoes with chubby little feet. So. If you have a large/high instep or really chubby, flat feet, you will want wide or extra wide. If you have a large/high instep or really chubby, flat feet, you will want wide or extra wide.

Is the size 'D' a wide-fitting shoe?

No, "D" does not stand for "wide shoe." "D" is a standard or average width for men's shoes.

Work-appropriate footwear
5/5

I wear these shoes to work all of the time. br>The only thing I change about them is the innersoles, which I replace with Dr. Scholls heavy-duty work, and they last for 6 to 8 months of daily hard work at an average of 6 miles per day. I work as a delivery driver for the United Parcel Service (UPS).

GREAT SHOE FOR FEET THAT HAVE BEEN ON THE WORKSHOP FOR A LONG TIME
5/5

I'm a 70-year-old "kid" who works a three-day week. Part-time job as a kitchen aid in a veterans nursing home with 120 residents one day per week. It is an honor for me to serve these men and women, some of whom served in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. The current oldest living military veteran, who turned 100 years old last July, lives here. br>br>MY SKETCHERS ARE MY FAVORITE! My feet, too, are in their seventies. they're both- Despite the fact that they've only been operational for about 69 years. Since 4 a. m. , I've been on my old feet: 30 a. m. to 1 p. m. At 3:00 p. m. , I go for a walk. 5 and 5. This job requires me to travel 25 miles per day. And I walk in a "slippery" environment, and these shoes are AMAZING in a slick kitchen. I threw in a high-resolution image. a high-quality custom orthotic that sits on top of the memory foam It's as if you're walking on a cloud with foam insoles. The next "test" will be to see how long they can last.

In a commercial kitchen, it is NOT built to last
3/5

I work as an executive chef in a big hotel. That being said, I don't cook as much as a chef, but I'm still in the kitchen, just not as much as I used to be. My shoes should be able to withstand the test. br>br>I used to have chronic foot problems, so I switched to a tighter-fitting shoe at the advice of my podiatrist. Dansko Clogs were my go-to footwear for many years. Those shoes could last up to two years if I looked after them properly, but clogs were no longer an option for me. br>br> I bought a pair of Skechers Soft Stride shoes and really like them. They were comfortable, less expensive than my other shoes, and they lasted a long time. br>br>A year later, I bought another pair of the same shoes, expecting them to perform similarly to the first. Take a look at the photos I've posted and notice that the shoes you're looking at are a little over 3 months old. In conclusion: br>br> The shoes are nonslip and comfortable, but the inner lining wears out quickly, and the outer of the shoe isn't built to last in a kitchen environment. I wouldn't put these shoes on my front desk, much less a chef. Spend a few extra dollars on Shoes for Crews or Dansko, both of which sell lace-up shoes. I'm confident that either pair of shoes will last longer. Very dissatisfied! br>br>.

These aren't something I'd buy again
3/5

Shoes that make a lot of noise! Walking in these shoes makes a lot of noise; they squeak and make sounds like passing gas. This is something both parties engage in. The inner and outer soles must be separated in some way, and there must be an air gap that flexes open as you walk. When walking on a hard surface, I work on concrete, which has a durable but hard sole, and it sounds like you're wearing boots. The cushioning is comfortable, and after a day in them, my feet feel fine. I just wish I could walk down the hall without the shoe making so much noise. When I say they're loud, I really do mean it! You'll be heard a mile away by your coworkers.

Manufacturers have ruined some of the most comfortable shoes on the market
3/5

Several years ago, I used to order these shoes on a regular basis. They've completely ruined the way these shoes are made and manufactured. They used to be incredibly comfortable, with additional cushioning and support in the soles! Now. The soles of the shoes are as tough as bricks! It's almost as if you're walking on concrete! The sole reason I bought these shoes was for the level of comfort they provided. What makes you think they'd change it?.

Excellent grip, no slipping, but be aware of circulation/pinching issues
3/5

I used to own two pairs of Skechers shoes for work, but they were out of stock when I went to reorder them because I have large feet for women's sizes (11 1/2). As a result, I decided to go with the men's size. My left big toe went numb after the first day of work wearing them, and the next day it started causing spasms in the ball of my foot, and the numbness spread to the other toes. However, I was able to solve the problem by purchasing a pair of Superfeet insoles, and now I have no problems, but it did cost me about $60. They don't have any traction issues, and I'm able to walk on floors that are slick with grease and water and cause problems for other people's shoes. I will continue to purchase Skechers work shoes, but be aware that you may have a circulation problem, at least in the men's version.

Shoe of high quality
4/5

I've never given anything a five-star rating, whether it's books, appliances, movies, or anything else, because I don't believe anything is perfect; however, if fractional stars are acceptable, I'd give these Sketchers a four-star rating. 95 stars. br>br>I work as a security guard, and some of my assignments require me to walk 1 1/2 to 2 miles in total over the course of eight hours. br>br>Comfortable shoes are therefore essential. Walking in shoes that are too tight or that don't fit properly- Heels are a little too low, parts of the shoes appear to be out of proportion to the rest of the shoe, and so on- This is a bad idea. Shoes with strange shoe laces that don't stay tied, the tongue of the shoe rolls up, and other issues are also undesirable. br>br>In my opinion, none of these Sketchers have any of those flaws. br>br>They're well-made, fit perfectly, are extremely comfortable, and I like the way they look. The slip-on is one of my favorites. Soles that are resistant to wear. br>br>The craftsmanship is excellent, they are sturdy, and they stay on the feet when tied the way I do. I've only had mine for about a month, so I'm not sure how long they'll last. I'd consider buying another pair of these as my next pair of work shoes if they're as durable as I expect them to be. br>br>And their fashion sense is a big plus for me. br>br>They polish up nicely, the heels are great, slightly oversized in a good way because I believe they add stability and balance, and I like the design; They have a nerdy, clunky look to me, which I really like- in particular- with a style that I think looks great with security guard boots. I'm not wearing these shoes to a formal event; instead, I'm wearing them for practical reasons, and they fit the bill perfectly.
