Because this shoe lacks a composite or steel toe, it will not "protect your feet if something heavy falls down on them." On top, there's nothing but soft mesh. It has the anti-inflammatory properties. This shoe has a non-slip sole, which is fantastic! So far, I've purchased three pairs: two for myself and one for my brother as a present. As you can see, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Personally, I'd like to see them in a variety of colors, at the very least a brown option.
My socks stayed dry even after a bucket of water fell on them. I'm not sure what the rest of them got, but my shoes kept the water out.
My ankles have a tendency to protrude. These soft-soled shoes do not wear out as quickly as some other soft-soled shoes do. They're well worth the money because they're so comfortable.

Very comfortable, slip-resistant, and snug enough to keep you from slipping off as you walk. Day one is in the books, and I haven't had any foot pain after ten hours on my feet. After a few months, I'll provide an update on durability. br>br>Update: As of October 29th, 2017, the project is still going strong. The only drawback is that I work with flour, which absorbs into the fabric. They're well worth the money because of how comfortable they are and how long they last.
This is a great shoe for comfort. These shoes run large or "relaxed fit" (which is basically a half size to a size larger) and are designed to run "loose" to allow for air circulation and comfort. Too tight, and these shoes feel hot, but too loose, and they feel like they're going to fall off. It's fine if you're walking and running around the kitchen, but it's not so good if you're pushing and pulling heavy objects around because your shoes will slip off. br>br>I've had these shoes for 7 months and they're still going strong. The soles have hardly any wear and the uppers are still in good condition, with no separation between the sole and the upper like most shoes I've owned. These are twice the price of Walmart's version, but half the price of professional kitchen shoes, so they're a good fit for most people's budgets. The sole flattening out and feeling less cushioned was the only issue I had after 7 months. So I removed the memory foam insoles (which were glued on) and replaced them with Ortholite insoles, making them feel brand new again.
These are the second pair of shoes I've purchased. The back of the shoe is extremely easy to collapse in. When it does, a piece of cushioning is pressed against the back of your heal. I assumed the first pair of shoes was an outlier, but it's already happening with the second pair, despite my extra caution when putting them on. This is not the level of quality I would expect for the price. It's difficult to straighten the material once it's been folded down. This is a fatal flaw that renders the shoe's other benefits irrelevant.
I USED TO GIVE 5 STARS - This is exactly what I was looking for - a relaxed atmosphere- on, easy- off footwear that is heavier than a slipper but not as heavy as a shoe These are comfortable enough to wear outside, but I prefer to keep them indoors. I have a wide foot, so the wide size is ideal for me. br>br>NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - They have a distinct odor! The issue has been brought up by other reviewers. After a couple of months of light usage - They stink, and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I have a lot of shoes and slippers. I was disappointed because I liked how comfortable they were.
These were purchased as a present for my chef husband. Crocs have been his go-to footwear for years. He gushed about how comfortable and breathable these were after trying them on and wearing them to work. He suffers from neuropathy in his lower legs, and these products have been extremely beneficial to him.
I work as a sous chef in a busy kitchen, and the outsole is already coming apart on the fourth day (today, 8/1/16). Are they comfortable? Yes. How long will they last? No.
These are, as others have stated, extremely comfortable shoes. The issue is that their soles began to separate before they were a year old. Unfortunately, it appears that this is a recurring issue. It's something I don't want to be true. Aside from that, these shoes are fantastic. Can you find a stronger adhesive? I can't justify buying a new pair after only 6 or 9 months of wear, as others have said.

When it comes to work attire, I am not one to seek out beauty, but when I saw these shoes, I fell in love with them right away. I considered a few other options before settling on these. I have a pair of Skechers boots that I wear to church and they are very comfortable, so I assumed these would be as well, and I was correct. These shoes are so comfortable that I'm planning on ordering another pair for myself, not for work. Everyone's tastes are different, but I highly recommend these for comfort, durability, and aesthetics.
