Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the 13dm and 13e versions of the United States?

Size "13" is represented by the number 13dm. "d" (medium = dm) is the width. br>13e stands for width "e," the first wide designation (up to eee).

Is it safe to ride with them?

What exactly are you riding? No, they're not skateboards or bicycles. They're a little heavy, but they're great for work. Work that is not related to construction. They aren't designed to be used for long periods of time.

Why are there so many different shoe sizes? What size 13W do I require? Are you willing to assist me?

The letter D stands for medium. E is wider than EE, and EEE is even wider. For over a century, quality shoes have been sized this way.

How long does the one-time warranty last?

Cheyenne's problem is exactly what I'm having. The edges of the uppers, which connect to the soles, are peeling away. Both pairs of footwear. In the spring of 2021, I purchased these. Since then, I've only worn it three times per week. A closer look reveals that the top leather's outer layer is PAPER THIN and de-tanned. Using the inner fabric layer as a base, laminate the outer fabric layer. This is a huge letdown. This is the most severe type of PENNY- The manufacturer is squeezing you. When I returned the defective, falling apart shoes, they charged me a restocking fee
3/5

Continue reading to the end. These were purchased for my son, who works in the restaurant industry and is constantly on his feet. To begin with, they look fantastic, far superior to athletic footwear! A lot more refined. They're also extremely relaxing. Dr. Scholl's inserts were added by my son, and they are now extremely comfortable! Since I bought these for him, there have been no complaints of sore or tired feet. I can't comment on their durability yet because he's only had them for about a week. If they don't hold up well and last a long time, I'll return to make changes, as that is my only criticism. So far, everything has gone well!
EDIT: The back part of the heel began to fall apart after only one month, with pieces of the plastic that make up the heel's back wall falling out in jagged chunks. I'm disappointed that these shoes lasted so little time, so I returned them and purchased a new pair. I'm hoping that was just a bad pair of shoes and not a sign of how well the shoe will hold up in the long run. So, I've given the shoes a second chance with a new pair and will see if they hold up better in a month or so. If they do, I'll keep my current 5-star rating because my son really likes the shoes. If they don't hold up any longer, I'll have to re-do them. review. br>2nd Revision: The same thing occurred once more. I returned the shoes because the inside back of the shoe, near the heel, began to fall apart, and I will not purchase them again. To make matters worse, THE BUSINESS CHARGED ME A RESTOCKING FEE! There will be no more of these shoes available. They'll be discarded because they're faulty! I didn't change my mind simply because I'm a jerk. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES! THEY FELL APART, AND THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! Business practices that are shady to say the least.

QUICKLY wore out
3/5

I work as a chef and put in at least 40 hours per week on my feet. Most shoes should last a long time, but these were purchased on January 4th and had to be replaced within 90 days. br>br>Insoles were worn outbr>Shoes were peeling and fadingbr>Soles were coming unglued from the main body of the shoe. br>Heel cuff was split and shreddingbr>br>They were comfortable for the first 90 days, and I liked the look, but 90 days is ridiculous. I don't think I'll ever put these shoes on again.

It's comfortable, but it has a major flaw in the design
3/5

First and foremost, the shoe is incredibly comfortable, with a cushioned insole. My biggest issue with this shoe is that the inside is lined with a type of mesh plastic that started falling apart after about six months of use. It also appears to be made out of top grain leather, so it hasn't fallen apart on the leather side. I believe this was done to increase sturdiness while reducing leather thickness, and I've seen it in other shoes recently. The issue with it is that small plastic pieces would come loose from the mesh and get stuck in my shoe, making it uncomfortable to walk on. This mesh was not present in the previous sketchers I had that were similar to these. I'm hoping Sketchers comes up with something more durable for support because if it happens again after I buy a new pair, I'm going to a different brand.

Although the shoes are comfortable, they do show signs of wear
3/5

The shoes are comfortable and well-fitting, but they begin to crease where your toes bend as you walk, as many other reviewers have noted. These photos were taken after only 4 hours of use, i. e. , only 4 HOURS of use and the shoes are already creased this badly. I also took the size survey to see if my wide feet would be an issue, and I ordered the size that it recommended. That was a mistake, because I ended up having to purchase XW and return the regulars I had purchased because they were far too narrow for my feet. One thing I'll have to try to get rid of these creases is to use shoe pollish, which I've seen people do on belts, so hopefully when I try it, it'll just make them look new and not so scuffed.

Not ok
3/5

This is simply a good shoe that isn't worth getting worked up over. This pair was supposed to be a replacement for my converse, which are no longer available for work. I was so enamored with those shoes that I wore them for an excessive amount of time. My foot fits well in the wide version of the Sketcher, and the size appears to be correct. However, they aren't particularly cozy. Because they were Sketchers with memory foam, I assumed they would be similar to my dream Sketchers athletic shoes - It's not like walking on clouds; these aren't like that at all. There is a very thin layer of foam that isn't particularly useful. To make these fantastic shoes, it needs to be three times thicker and have some sort of arch support. It's hard to believe they'd scrimp on about a dollar's worth of material rather than make a truly comfortable shoe. The shoe has a lot of room, which is unusual for my Fred Flintstone 11 foot. The shoe appears to be well-made, but it is extremely stiff, which I believe is due to the sole/tread. That's fine, but they're also quite heavy. As if they were cement shoes. It felt strange at first to wear them, and it still does. The next time I go shopping, I'm going to look for a different shoe. br>edit after 6 mobr>I despise these shoes. It's as if they're made of lead. It's more pleasant to walk barefoot in the gravel. Because they're so stiff and inflexible, I tripped while trying to walk quickly.

Able to take a lot of abuse
5/5

The old pair has been together for more than a year. This is the third pair of shoes I've bought in the last three years. I keep buying these for my husband because they last a year instead of wearing out. He's currently working on a building project. The ability to install metal roofing without slipping is an added benefit. They have "good grip on metal roofing," but "they hold a lot of mud in the tread," which is a disadvantage.

Manufacturing is a plus
5/5

I've had the previous pair for over a year and am on my second pair. I work in a machine shop with polyurethane-coated floors, so non-slip shoes are essential, and the shoes stand up to oil and steel chips well. They remained at ease until the very last moment. This is an excellent working shoe.
