My son required some footwear for his first part-time job at Wendy's. These provide the necessary "all-around" traction, are extremely comfortable right out of the box (no break-in period required), and have held up well after a few months of use. I can happily recommend these to anyone who needs comfortable non-slip shoes because there were no pinching, blisters, or complaints that his feet were sore after hours of standing. (I apologize for the photo; they are a little dirty from use. ).
I work in a fast-food restaurant and am constantly on the go. These shoes are very comfortable and, as stated, non-slip. They have a great look to them; they resemble regular athletic shoes. A tool is included in the package to clean any dirt from underneath the shoes. It's a very useful application. Overall, I am pleased.
I've been working in the hospitality industry for 8 years and have yet to find a pair of shoes that are more appropriate for the job. They are as follows: br> Slick, comfortable, long-lasting, easy to clean, and, of course, non-slipbr>br>Excellent work shoebr>br>.
Pros: Good-looking shoes with a front and back that are simple to clean.
Cons: The bottoms of shoes become extremely filthy. By the end of the day, my shoe is stuffed with fries, chicken, and biscuits. I won't be able to clean them while I'm at work. As a result, I landed flat on my back today. I propose that these shoes be redesigned without the bottom holes. Design is a joke.
This is a typical type of shoe. However, it appears to be water-resistant. I found it to be more comfortable than I had anticipated. It is effective to use non-slip. I filled them with gel, but the inserts are adequate. I'm also a very critical person.
This shoe came in a size 13W, which was perfect for me. I was certain it would be too small and tight as soon as I took it out of the box. The truth is that it fit my foot, but only with ZERO wiggle room. I removed the insole and replaced it with a custom-made arch support insole. I'll see how things go at work tonight and update if I have any additional information, as I only got the shoes today. I'll admit that a ten-hour shift in these is something I'm not looking forward to. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> These shoes are very comfortable on my feet throughout my ten-hour shift after a day of wear and the addition of Industrial Standard Ultra Work insoles. I tried arch support insoles before and they hurt my feet after a few hours, so I'm guessing that wasn't something I needed to be concerned about. These shoes are great, but I recommend ordering a half size up.
Not by me, however. I work as a teacher in a wood shop and spend my days on my feet. Because the cement floors are smooth, sawdust is easily swept up. When I stop or change directions, I always slip on the floors. These shoes were recommended for use in a wet kitchen. I've tried court shoes, cross trainers, and other types of shoes over the last 27 years, so I was eager to see how these would perform. They work well on other surfaces like ceramic tile and waxed school tile (plastic type) floors, where traction is nearly 100%. They're no better than the shoes I've worn in a dusty wood shop. I'll keep them because they fit well and are comfortable to wear. They could use a longer pair of shoe ties because tying the shoes requires a lot of pulling.
To begin, let me say that these shoes aren't perfect, but they do the job well enough. My feet are kept dry, and the non-slip bottom performs as expected. I wear a size 12 and they don't quite fit my foot perfectly, but they're close. In my case, I feel like I have a little too much room in the front of the shoe where my toes are when I put them on. The rest of the shoe is comfortable, though there isn't as much padding in the heel as there is in a traditional shoe, so after a few hours of wear, the back of my foot hurts a little. Also, on that note, I recommend getting some insoles for these because my feet start to hurt halfway through my work shift. Aside from that, these shoes are fine and do their job well.
