My babies love this ring rattle because it's easy to hold, the bright colors, the different textures to chew on, the beads inside make a little noise when shaken, and they play with the smaller rings attached. I had this Sassy Ring Rattle for my second baby and absolutely loved it, but I don't know what happened to it, so I purchased it again for my third. My son is about to turn one and still plays with it, and it's small and light enough that I can throw it in my bag and take it with me when I'm out and about. Over the last ten months, it has been dropped, tossed, and chewed on numerous times without breaking. I wash it with dish soap and white vinegar on occasion, but if you submerge it in water, some will seep into the clear plastic, which will dry out after a few minutes on a towel. I'd recommend it for children aged 3 months and up because it's 4" in diameter, a little too big for tiny hands, and made of a hard material that will hurt if a child hits their head on it.
These toys are fantastic, but I'm not sure if they're dishwasher safe or washable. The rattler's ball is wet on the inside; I've had it drying for two days and it's still wet. I'm concerned that mold will begin to grow in it, posing a risk to my three-week-old baby, so I'll have to discard the rattler.
My daughter adores the ring, and it is her favorite toy. But I'm not sure why they decided to coat each toy in a thick layer of extra sticky rubber that attracts fabric fuzz and pet hair like a magnet. Because the sticky rubber catches everything, junk gets caught in the wheels of the orange spinner. I don't know where the lint came from; it's a hanging toy. She takes these toys and puts them in her mouth! As a full-time employee, I am responsible for I don't think I should have to rinse her toys every time they come into contact with fabric, mom. I'm not going to buy this brand again, despite her love for these toys.
When my son was learning to grasp and hold objects, I bought these for him. The big round one is the easiest (obviously) for him to hold, and it's the one he prefers to chew on, especially the soft green section. He finds it difficult to hold the more traditional-looking rattle, and he is uninterested in it. The orange one is mostly ignored by him. These are sturdy and well-made, unlike many other baby toys on the market. I gave it four stars because I have to wash it all the time because of the slightly sticky nature of the materials it was made of. My child is constantly dropping or throwing these, and they become caked in dirt and hair, requiring washing rather than rinsing. However, this isn't a reason not to purchase them. Overall, this was an excellent purchase.
My toddler prefers this rattle to all of his others. It's simple to hold for him and keeps him entertained.
My baby adores the toy, despite the fact that she suffers from a mild hearing loss and is unable to hear it from afar. However, if you place it right next to my baby's ear, she will be able to hear it. Colors are also a hit with my baby. The only thing I wish it had was a little more volume. Because she is learning how to grab, she becomes disinterested if she is the one attempting to shake it. My baby, who isn't strong enough to hold it, nevertheless tries to shake it.
I bought this for my son when he was about 4-years-old, almost 13 years ago. 5 months. He adored it and kept it in his hand as his only toy, biting down on it when he first started teething. My daughter is now five months old. I just gave her the same toy, which she grabs, holds, and shakes constantly. Keeps her occupied for about 20 minutes, giving me plenty of time to shower without having to worry about her looking for mommy.
It's bright, textured, and comfortable to hold. Just keep in mind that it's difficult, so make sure they don't hit their heads! His attention is drawn to the colors because they contrast. I'm sure he can sense the various textures, and chewing on the ring's sides is simple for him. Also, see if you can get the soccer ball into his mouth. lol. This is a stunning piece. It would make an excellent present.
