The ball is made of soft, bendable plastic that holds its shape well. Squeezing it causes it to squish.

Due to our 5-month-old's head development, we had an appointment with a pediatric physical therapist. The therapist had arranged a variety of toys in a circle on a tumbling mat to see which ones our bany would prefer. Our baby went straight for this toy after being put down. br>He held and engaged with the evaluation for the entire time. Because he was so enthralled by the rattle, he barely noticed the neck and shoulder exercises. br>The appointment went well, and we ordered this toy from Amazon later that evening. He continues to go straight for this toy on a regular basis. br>If you found my review useful, please click the "helpful" button. My son and I both enjoyed playing with the toy. He enjoys the rattle noise, but the toy has a chemical film that you can taste; in fact, I tasted the toy because I was afraid my son would put it in his mouth. I tried using disinfectant wipes, soap, and water to remove it, but the taste remained. Giving this toy to my baby makes me feel extremely unsafe.
I own a number of Oball products and was hoping to enjoy this one as much as the others. It's a fantastic concept. My son enjoys watching the beads make their way down the layers. Unfortunately, I should have read the description more carefully, because the 6" diameter is far too large for his small hands. My one-year-old son has only played with it two or three times in the three months that we've had it. This may be a better choice for older toddlers, but if you have a young baby, I'd suggest the Oball shaker or the Oball 4" rattle instead - These have provided a lot of fun for my son! br>br>I've included a photo to show you how this ball compares to the standard Oball rattle in terms of size.
This toy should not be purchased for babies who like to put things in their mouth. Because the plastic has a sour/burning taste, I believe it is leaking chemicals.
I'd like to begin by saying: My favorite early infant toy (2-year-old) is oballs. a period of six months They were the first toy that my daughter grabbed. It was the first time I saw her actively interact with a toy when she picked up and tried to gum her Oball shaker before she turned 9 weeks. The plastic mesh makes them incredibly easy to hold, even for the smallest of hands. br>br>One of my least favorite aspects of Oballs is how difficult they are to maintain. A wipe down never seems to be enough to cover all of the mesh's angles. br>br>We started with the Oball shaker, but once we saw how well she could grasp it, we quickly ordered the Oball Jingle and Shake Pal and the Oball Rollin' Rainstick Rattle. br>br>The best-of-the-best-of-the-best-of-the-best-of-the Sounds that are both great and loud. Even the tiniest movements of my daughter can make a noise. The sounds are also quite pleasing to the ears, which I like. br>br>The negatives br>br> I was surprised by the size of this ball. My four- month- It can be dragged but not picked up by an elderly person. It irritates her that her hands can fit inside the plastic mesh.
This toy was originally purchased for our 10-month-old son because it was a popular choice at the children's museum. In general, balls are hits. In comparison to other balls, or even other Oballs, this one stands out. It's easy to grip because of the open sides. The rain stick in the middle, however, is what truly distinguishes this toy. When rolled or shaken, it produces a pleasant rattling sound. Turning this rain stick ball upside down just to watch the beads cascade adds yet another entertaining element, as it is loud enough to delight children while quiet enough not to annoy people who dislike noise. Even our nearly 5-year-old year- It is something that the young enjoys playing with. Overall, the ball is well worth the money, and I would strongly recommend it!.
You must exercise caution. br>br>For what it is, I adore this ball. a source of distraction I despise this ball because it is thrown by toddlers and is potentially dangerous due to the lovely rattle stick in the middle. I've had a few boo-boos in the past few years. This guy is a no-no in an infant/toddler classroom, but it can be a useful teaching tool and a fun ball to roll back and forth with a toddler.
Dexterity is a good thing to have. Not for tiny babies, but they'll get used to it as they get older. The baby is amusing. This is a large size, and it was purchased for a 5-month-old, 20-pound baby. The colors are vibrant, and the central tube with cascading rattles will pique the interest of young children. This ball is easily grasped by little fingers in any location. With babies who can sit up, it's a good idea to play fir rolling games. It isn't too heavy for a large baby to pick up and wave it around while lying on their back. It's simple to grasp and pass from hand to hand, and barefoot babies enjoy grasping it with their toes.
