We purchased the joovy stroller a few years ago to take our four-year-old jogging. We're expecting our first child, so we were overjoyed to discover this attachment! An infant does not necessitate the purchase of a new stroller. The graco click connect 35 lx is what we have and it's great.
Cross-country races are something that both my husband and I enjoy doing. We began bringing our daughter when she was too small for our Joovy Zoom, but we needed a stroller with shocks and large wheels so we could push it onto grass. This fit our Graco care seat easily and securely, and we now just leave it on the stroller when we fold it up. Note: We don't use the car seat adapter when we run with her. It's only meant to be used while walking.
It can't stay attached because there isn't a good clipping system. It threatened to fall off today while my 3-year-old was wearing it. The first time I caught him, I didn't catch him the second time. He landed squarely in the middle of the road! THIS IS A POS I DO NOT RECOMMEND! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>Amazon sent me an item that was missing the velcro secure straps, which caused my baby to fall. To keep the baby safe, this adapter needs to have velcro secure straps. It's still difficult to trust, but I don't have any other choice because of the financial constraints. There hasn't been another fall for Baby. When purchasing from Amazon, I would advise you to take your time and look over everything. Because it was an older model, the instructions didn't even include information about velcro straps.
We have an older Joovy Zoom 360 (we bought it on Craigslist four years ago, so it must be at least five years old) that we use. This car seat adapter was perfect for my son (who is 7 years old). We used it on a regular basis.
It does what it's supposed to do and is simple to use. However, it expands the overall size of the stroller, making it more difficult to transport. When I fold down the hatchback on my Hyundai Elantra GT, the shelf/cover thing sticks up to accommodate the extra width.
My Graco is very sturdy and clicks on perfectly. It can also be folded along with the stroller.
I don't have an opinion on this because it was a baby shower gift. My granddaughter was delighted to receive it, but she has yet to use it because the baby has not yet arrived.
It's quite effective. It took some figuring out to get it to work properly, but once I did, it's fantastic. I use it on a daily basis and have never had any problems with it. The adapter makes it simple to attach the car seat.
