Thule Jogging Stroller Infant Car Seat Adapter

I was overjoyed to discover that Thule's Urban joggers came with a Chicco adapter. Because both the stroller and the Chicco infant car seat have excellent reviews, being able to use them together is a huge plus. br>br>The Chicco KeyFit 30 is easy to install and remove. Compared to a generic strap found on universal adapters, this is a much more secure option. It adds a little more bulk to the stroller, but it's very easy to remove if needed. br>br>Strongly suggested. br>br>.

I wanted to use a Thule jogging stroller as a travel system, just like everyone else. And I learned that putting one together in the United States is difficult, but doable if you do your homework. br>br>According to the box, these adapters are compatible with Maxi- Car seats from Cosi, BeSafe, Cybex, and Nuna are among the most popular. And, in my experience, the Cybex Cloud Q infant car seat is extremely stable when used with these adapters. My baby's safety is assured to me. br>br>I also like how the adapters all have the same blue color-coded levers, so users can see which parts are supposed to move. It was simple to set up and was exactly what I was looking for.

This is for my Uppababy Mesa car seat, which I purchased. This adapter was simple to install on the Thule stroller frame, and it feels very secure once it's in place. Once the adapter is in place, simply place the car seat on top of it and secure the strap with buckles across the seat's middle. It's incredibly simple to work with. I docked one star because the adapter folds up for storage, and if you're not careful, it's easy to fold it up accidentally while trying to install the car seat. I believe this is a matter of safety.

I enjoy running or taking long walks, so this was a must-have for me to take my infant with me. Two points to keep in mind: (1) When it is attached to the stroller, it makes it difficult to fold the stroller so that it can fit in the trunk of the car; you may have to disassemble the stroller every time you need to pack it, which can be inconvenient; (2) There is no click-in system for harnessing the car seat to the car seat adapter; instead, you must use a strap. If your baby is very large, the strap can be too tight on his or her legs (this wasn't a problem for me because I transitioned her out of the car seat and into the stroller seat once she reached that size). It's not the most practical configuration. If you're looking for a stroller/carset combination for everyday use, Thule is a great option.

This adapter was purchased so that we could use our Nuna PIPA infant car seat with our Thule Urban Glide 2. The stroller accepts the car seat safely and securely. I know it's not a good idea to go jogging with a small child, but it's nice to be able to take baby for dog walks or days at the park in this awesome stroller.

The (plastic) pin holding the stroller attachment to the stroller had either broken or slipped out, and I noticed that the other side needed to be adjusted as well. I'll go to my local big box store to see if they have a metal screw that I can use. In terms of my own usage: br>br> On the weekends, I've gone for a few indoor track runs and a few dog walks. So there was no heavy use that could have caused this piece to fall apart after less than three months of light use. br>br>*EDIT
Added an 8-minute video. It's not a perfect fit, but it holds the pieces together with a little play. 32 x 3" machine screw I wouldn't trust it in the long run, but I'm fine with using it for the time being.

You also have to take it off every time you fold the stroller (did I mention it's not very easy to put on and take off?). ) and because of its unusual shape, it's a little difficult to store. br>br>However, I like how our Chicco Keyfit 30 snaps into place after it's been set up. It has a very safe feeling to it. We've been parking the Thule Urban Glide 2 (2018 model) in the garage with this car seat adapter attached. For the time being, we only use it for neighborhood walks. Instead, we travel with the Chicco Keyfit Caddy, which folds up smaller and is much easier to get in and out of the trunk.

So far, we've been able to use it with our Chicco car seat for about a month before the weather became too cold to take our newborn out. It's made to the same high standard as the stroller, which means it's more than adequate. When folded, I like that it can stay on the stroller. br>br>My only complaint is the cost, as well as the fact that these items are not included with the stroller. Because it's only used for a short time, it's only natural to include it with the more expensive main unit.
