Yes, it's for the Donkey, but there's something you should know about it. Two single adapters cannot be used at the same time. If you have twins (like me), the adapter design is terrible because you have to buy a single adapter (for mono mode) and a double adapter (for twin mode) separately. Unlike other strollers, this one comes with two single adapters that can be used together or separately. I assumed this was a mistake because one of the donkey's main selling points is its ability to switch from mono to twin mode, but no, I emailed bugaboo and they confirmed it. So, if you want to switch from single to double on the fly, you'll need to bring three clunky adapters.

I wish I had known how difficult it would be to use this in the Donkey with the Bugaboo toddler seat. It does its job well, as the infant seat and, by extension, the stroller base, are securely attached to it. However, when there is also a toddler seat in the vehicle, the fit is too tight. As a result, the ease with which the car seat can be attached to/removed from the adaptor/stroller is affected. I've spent a lot of time frantically tugging on things in order to finally be able to fold my Donkey back up and put it in the trunk of my truck. Although it works well and appears to be the only option for this stroller and car seat (Bugaboo Donkey base with a Maxi-Cosi car seat), Both are brand new Cozi infant seats! I can't help but wish there were a wider range of products available. If there were, I would not have bought this item if I had known what I know now about the maneuverability during set-up and break-down. But I have no choice but to accept it because there are no other options. I can't wait until our baby is old enough to ride in a toddler seat with his brother, so I can get rid of this contraption!.

This adapter was purchased for use with the bugaboo donkey's cyber cloud q car seats. I'll give two stars for ease of assembly and installation, but once the car seats were snapped in, getting them out with the baby still in the car seat was nearly impossible due to rubbing. The release buttons are quite far back, so having the frame with no space between car seats is, in my opinion, a poor design.

The adapter fits the Bugaboo Donkey perfectly, but getting the Chicco Car Seat into the adapter can be a little tricky for someone who isn't familiar with it. It may be tempting to simply place the car seat on top without hearing the click, but make sure the car seat is secure when it clicks for your child's safety! br>br>Because this adapter is bulky, you'll need to remove it and store it somewhere else if you want to fold your Donkey to put it in your car. That is not a problem for me, but it may be for you, so I wanted to make you aware of it. The adapter is well-made, with excellent materials and workmanship, so you'd think Bugaboo would charge a higher price, but I appreciate that the price is reasonable, especially for the Donkey. This is compatible with the Bugaboo Donkey 2 and the Chicco key. It does, however, wobble and is unsteady, which isn't ideal for a newborn, especially after spending so much money on it.
This was purchased to go with a bugaboo donkey stroller and a Cybex Aton car seat. It's fantastic!.
