Questions & Answers
To get ours to click in, we have to use a lot of force. Make sure you're aligned straight and push down as hard as you can; the same goes for taking it out; I've found that I have to pull on it quite hard at times. As a result, we usually put it on and take it off without the baby. It's not easy, but the more we use it, the better it seems to get.
It works with the Graco SnugRide 30/35, Graco SnugRide SnugLock 30/35, and Chicco KeyFit 30 infant car seats, as well as the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4-in-1 car seat. Additional cross bar included in the 35 infant car seat
Fits my Graco SnugRide 35 perfectly.
Yes, it'll work with your KeyFit car seat.
Selected User Reviews For Cybex Gazelle S GracoChiccoPeg Perego Car Infant Car Seat Adapter, Black
After reading reviews that it does not work with the car seats it claims to be compatible with, I bought this adapter WAY before I needed it to test it out. Chicco Keyfit 30 is the type of stroller that I have. It took me 20 minutes of fiddling with it and unsuccessfully looking for a video on how to use the adapter before I realized my mistake. Before this adapter can be used with Graco and Chicco car seats, a removable bar that is only intended for Peg Pergo car seats must be removed. It is not stated explicitly in the manual that it must be removed. Only because I kept re-reading it did I notice it. I was checking the diagram to make sure the adapter was in the right place. That's when I noticed the bar in the diagram depicting how to use Peg Pergo. The manufacturers should make this clearer and/or provide videos on how to use and install this adapter.
This adapter was purchased to secure a new Graco Snugride Snuglock 35 DLX infant car seat for our newborn, who will arrive in one month. In fact, we had purchased the Cybex Gazelle S Stroller and the Graco car seat separately from the Cybex bassinet, relying on this single adapter to connect all of the pieces. The adapter is simple to install on the Gazelle S stroller and snaps into place as expected. The Graco infant car seat, on the other hand, only attached to the back side top of the car seat when we clicked it into place. The car seat's sides did not click or snap into anything, causing it to wiggle back and forth and, more concerningly, up and down from the bottom end near the baby's feet. I was able to lift the car seat from near the bottom (near the baby's feet), pull upward, and the car seat flip completely upside down until it detached without any clicks or compressing the car seat detachment button. Construction was extremely concerning, and it did not appear to be secure or safe in the least. Thankfully, Amazon customer service is fantastic, and I'll be able to return both the adapter and the Graco car seat and replace them with something that will work with the Cybex adapters that came with the stroller. Overall, I was disappointed, and dealing with it at 37 weeks pregnant with my first child was a headache.
