Because studs can't be screwed in in Michigan, I didn't use any.
This is my first time purchasing a home. Rims are not included in the purchase of tires. You purchase new tires and have them installed on your current rims.
They're great even without studs because they stick to ice and snow like glue. br>br>A few years ago, I had a set of Dunlop's best "mud, rain, and snow" tires on a rear-wheel-drive Pontiac Grand Prix that I had studded when I bought them, thinking I'd get the best road grip possible. The studs, to my surprise, provided no additional traction and simply slid across any icy surface, making them the most dangerous tires I'd ever installed on that car. Instead of "extra grip," I had none, and the car slid all over the place. On top of that, the studs were unbearably loud on dry pavement, which they wanted to skate on as well. br>br>When I'd had my fill of hair-raising adventures, I dismounted them, removed the studs, and remounted them. They were fantastic tires once the tread was allowed to fully engage with the road surface, as it was intended. Never again will I use studs on a tire.

This winter, these tires proved to be extremely useful and beneficial! Wow, they're incredible, and even driving through snow drifts was safe. On an Audi Quattro wagon, without studs or chains, it drove like it was on the highway.
They take to the road when it's snowing. If you live in New England, these tires are a must-have. They're cheap and will last for a long time.
I'm looking forward to getting them installed because of the quick delivery.
These tires were purchased for my Oregon-based daughter. She received them in just four days. They were well-packaged and in excellent condition when they arrived. They're the best tire for rainy or snowy conditions. For the money, you get a lot of tire.
The tires are outstanding. Excellent grip.
Not bad for a less expensive snow tire, and they perform exactly as expected.
So far, everything has gone well. They have about 5,000 miles on them and are probably the best snow tires I've ever had on a front-wheel-drive vehicle.
The tread design was fantastic!.
