Yes, it is compatible, and yes, they will require two.
There is only one cable in this package. To connect your panel to the controller, you'll need two cables. This isn't a two-piece set.
They've been crimped and glued shut. This is not a good idea. br>Alternatively, you could cut the cable and reconnect it. Butt connectors and heat shrink tubing can be used to splice the wire, but this defeats the purpose of having pre-built cabling.
Hello, we use stranded copper wiring for all of our connections. Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry!

That said, it's the equivalent of buying a single lug nut for your car. Why would you put these together as a single package? It may be convenient to be able to purchase just one in the event of an emergency, but come on! When I arrived at our camping spot (which had a lot of trees), I knew I could reach a clear area with the extension, so I took it out of the package and discovered I only had one side. I was not pleased with myself. Yes, I should have double-checked everything before leaving, but I wasn't happy. The cable itself appears to be a five-star product, but it could have been a one-star product if it didn't receive two.
offs. Regony cables were included in my most recent order. Each package contains only one cable. They are more expensive, but they are of better quality and fit, and the seller is promoting the Regony product. br>br>Buyer beware: you may not receive the item that you expected.
When the title says "Male and Female connectors" instead of "Male and Female connector," it's a little misleading. This subtlety led me to believe that a pair of cables were included, but they are not. Many people, I believe, do not require just one cable.
I chose the Amazon suggested bundle (which included a Renogy solar panel) and this extension cable from the same vendor. Because lame RV "solar ready" means "backwards," you'll need a polarity reverser. a knife was used to shape the plug)br>br>BUT, BUT, even the Amazon suggested bundle will only get you ONE item. (This is what I get when I click on something without reading it) putting faith in the process to properly bundle) Electricity is a two-way street. br>br>This is also why I'm guessing I got a gently used (previous return) open package. br>br>BUT it's still my best bet for compatibility, so pull out your credit card and order the second one you'll need!.
For the past five and a half years, I've been living off the grid. A good friend of mine discovered a Renogy solar panel kit on Amazon three years ago. We got the 400 watt kit for a good price, and it was simple to set up and use. br>The directions were clear and easy to follow, so there was no guesswork involved. All you have to do now is decide where the panels will go. For two and a half years, I kept them in 14-degree temperatures on the ground under three feet of snow. There will be no issues. They're now on top of my full-time RV trailer, where one wire was wired backwards due to some wiring errors on my account. br>I contacted Renergy to see if they could sell me a part, and they went above and beyond. The part I needed was not available in the configuration I needed. As a result, they created it and delivered it to me. This is a company that goes out of its way to help their customers in any way they can. Good old- a genuine sense of pride in their product and customer service (i. e. , no hassles, a real person answering the phone on the first ring). Joshua Cabrera assisted me. He was quick and professional, and he even had a caring demeanor. Look, I'm a U. S. citizen with nothing but praise for your products and customer service. br>Look, I'm a U. If you want a great company and product for your next solar project, look no further than Renogy.

This is going to be fantastic. To make a single solar panel extension cord, you'll need to order two separate cables.
Because there is only one cable, I had to return it. TWO cables are required to extend the length of the solar panel's placement. The price was simply too high to justify purchasing another cable, and the description was inaccurate.
I've got a few of these, and when I needed to change my configuration, I got some disappointing results. The center pin of the mc4 connector completely pushed out on a few of the connectors. I had to use some very small tools to put it back in place, but I'm worried that it's not connecting properly. This happened twice with the connector clip, which was a poor fit due to its less-than-perfect mold. Disconnecting the connector without damaging it was extremely difficult.
