Dear Charles Weber, both the 10FT and the 20FT 10AWG solar panel extension cables wire Kits are weatherproof and designed to withstand extreme heat and cold (-). (Temperatures range from 40 to 90 degrees Celsius). Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our products.
Our IP67 waterproof solar cable wires, dear customer, are built to withstand extreme heat and cold (-). The temperature ranges from 40°F to 194°F, and the thickness of 6 mm2 is sufficient to push current and voltage (DC: 8KV; AC: 6~1KV). This appropriate current and voltage could be compared to the panel's parameters.
Dear Michael, This wire has 66 strands.br>I hope this information is helpful in making your purchase.
These copper cable wires have a tin coating on them.

duty. You'll notice that many solar panels don't have MC4 cables long enough to reach your solar charge controller if you have one mounted somewhere. This is where the cables come in handy. When I first opened these, the first thing that struck me was how well-made they are. cable that was manufactured The shielding/insulation is excellent, and the connectors are securely fastened. I can use this as a lead connector from my MPPT to my solar panels, or I can attach connectors to the ends (included) and use these to better connect panel-to-panel. I'd like to make the panel easier and more versatile than the 5 foot connector cables I have now. Finally, I decided to use these as the MPPT's initial connection, and it's been working out great. I was previously using a set of three-foot cables, so this gives me a lot more flexibility in terms of where I can put my charge controller. These are well-made, don't come at a bad price, and should last a long time. br>br>Pros: br>br>Good insulationbr>Comes with connectors to use between panelsbr>Longbr>Good value for my needsbr>Can be cut to make two sets (would need to buy more connectorsbr>Made wellbr>br>Cons: br>br>For higher voltages, 10 AWG isn't ideal.
Before I retired, I worked as an electronic technician. This wiring appears to be in excellent condition and to be the appropriate size for the load. For our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4 door), twenty feet from the front of our rack to the back, where the deep cycle battery is, will suffice. Also, shipping was very quick.
Why bother with a color-coded set if they're made the wrong way around? br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I had to rewire my solar system after moving it several months later. The next day, I discovered that I had forgotten they had made these backwards and wired them in reverse. Disappointedbr>br>With a multimeter, the resistance was 2 ohms on red and 2 ohms on green. On black, the number eight. According to Google, it should be much lower for 10 gauge wire, around 1 ohm for 1000 feet of 10G wire. br>br>Resistance is so high that my 60V panels are only getting 14v most of the time. br>br>At the moment, I can't afford to take my solar system down to return these.
I was given cables with a female connector on the black side and a male connector on the red side. I had to cut the cable and temporarily reverse it so that I could at least test my solar system. After I had run the cable, I found out. I didn't want to take it out and put it back in (then reinstall it when I got a new one). Now I'll have to order some MC4 connectors and permanently install them.
Excellent heavy-duty wires and connectors that were ideal for use with my solar panel for greenhouse irrigation. I bought the 30' cables, which were more than enough for my needs. As shown in the picture, I was able to quickly connect them to my controller. This is a high-quality product that anyone looking to connect a solar panel to their home should consider.
These durable cables were purchased to connect a solar panel to a charge controller for a partial off-grid system. Setup for grid power Because the kit I purchased did not include it, this enabled it to function as intended by the charge controller engineers. br>br>I've recharged my 40V GreenWorks several times with the auto battery I have. Lithium-ion mower batteries from Kobalt.
To correct the error, I had to cut them off and replace them. br>The wire itself appears to be fine with the double jacketed PV insulation; it's just that they had to be built properly for the price!.
