They should work as long as you don't use more power than a 12 gauge cable can handle for the distance. Also, double-check that the polarity of the extensions matches the polarity of the device you're connecting them to. Some are wired backwards, necessitating the use of an SAE adapter.
This is just a cable that has been extended. As long as the ends of the extension mate up, it should connect to the trickle charger.

This was purchased to extend the range of my solar panel's placement. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The wiring appears to be of good quality and a reasonable price.
I bought them because they came with caps to keep moisture and debris out of the connections. For connecting to the battery maintainer charger on my ATV, I use them. The +- All of my various brand maintainers have connections that match. It's a fantastic deal and something I couldn't find at my local dealer or hardware store.
There is insufficient voltage. The wires on my battery tender needed to be extended, so I bought this. When I plugged in this extension, however, the voltage transmitted was insufficient to keep the battery charged. I'm not an electrician, but something about these wires is preventing the battery tender from delivering the correct amount of volts to the battery. br>It's been brought back.

This extension cable was purchased to use with my solar panels that are portable. The wire is a thick 12AWG, and the connectors are strong and come with caps. It functions flawlessly and at a reasonable cost.
I used this connection to run power to a hydraulic oil heater that I installed in a snow plow fill hole. Due to the fact that it will be exposed to the elements, a little dialectic grease worked wonders. It also came with cover caps to keep the ends sealed when not in use, which was exactly what I needed.
Check to see if the positive and negative leads are in the correct order before wiring.
Construction is thick and solid. Excellent gauge for extending battery chargers or anything else where you don't want voltage drop.
