The socket is very nice and of excellent quality. It's both lightweight and durable. I got a $5 more dewalt socket, and after one use, I see a lot of wear and tear, whereas the gear wrench shows almost no wear and tear after the same amount of use, indicating that this one far outperforms the quality.

This is a high-quality product; I had purchased a 55-dollar snapon socket of the same size and "somehow" lost it; this socket replaced it because I couldn't justify spending $50 on a single socket; it does the job just as well as any other and is significantly less expensive. I can easily order a replacement if it is lost.

Removing a wheel hub nut was a breeze with this tool. This appears to be a good fit for any application that requires a 1/2" drive and torque specs of less than 300 ft/lbs. If I were to do this job again, I'd use a 3/4" socket instead of a 1/2" because an electric impact gun set at around 450 ft/lbs resulted in light denting on the inside of the 1/2" input. This socket is fantastic.
