These are extremely well constructed. I used a manual impact wrench that I held in my hand and applied a lot of force to. It's still in good condition. Using a power (electric or air) impact wrench, I'm not sure how well they'd hold up. I suppose the other question is whether you use them on a daily basis with a power impact wrench or only once in a while. I'd buy them again if the opportunity presented itself. I hope this has been of assistance to you.

Selected User Reviews For LEXIVON Torx Bit Socket Set, Premium S2 Alloy Steel | 13-Piece Star T8 - T60 Set | Enhanced Storage Case (LX-143)
The case is attractive, and the size options are plentiful. Unfortunately, the first time I tried to remove a fastener with the T10 bit, it "twisted. " I couldn't remove the fastener with the bit, but I was able to do so with ease using an allen type T10. The Lexivon T10 bit would have been broken if there had been any more torque applied. I wanted to use their warranty, but I couldn't register the set because I couldn't find the serial number. It could have been on the set's outer cardboard box. That had been discarded previously. If Lexivon reads this, I'd like to request a replacement for the 1/4" drive T10 bit that twisted the first time I used it. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Sam from Lexivon sent me an email today, requesting my name. They'll send me a replacement as soon as possible if I provide them with my address. I'm confident they'll follow through. It's difficult to imagine a more excellent level of service. When the new one arrives, I'll post another update. UPDATED: br>br>NEXT UPDATED: br>br>NEXT UPDATED: As promised, I received a replacement, which was delivered by Fedex the next day. Amazing customer service! To be fair, I believe the fastener that caused the "twisted" bit was overtorqued and had loctite applied. The T10 bit is very small as well. I'm bumping up my rating from 4 to 5 stars and would gladly recommend Lexivon tools to anyone. They truly believe in what they sell! Lexivon, thank you so much!.
Let's see how things turn out. Everything was as expected, except the T-shirt's tip had broken. It was obviously poorly made because it snapped easily and with little force. br>Recent changes: They are going to send me a replacement. br> Once I receive the replacement, I will upgrade to a four-star rating! br>Recent changes: br>I just got my replacements in the mail! This is a company with which I would do business again. Exceptional assistance!.
Great product; I was surprised at how nice they were for the price, and they fit perfectly. There is no slop, indicating that they have been precisely machined and cut. Other Torx bits I've tried don't fit as snugly. Bits of excellent quality. br>br>I've read a few other reviews that claim they snapped/broke when subjected to torque. These work great with my torque wrench and are extremely strong. The only conclusion I can draw is that those individuals employed excessive torque. After all, even though these are referred to as "sockets," they are actually Torx bits. So, basically, these are screwdriver bits attached to a socket so you can use your ratchet. However, this does not imply that you can apply ratchet-like force to them. You must apply screwdriver-like force. If you gorilla these, they'll probably snap like any other screwdriver bit you put on a ratchet.
I would strongly advise against it.
These Torx sockets are of excellent quality. Makings are simple to understand, and the two I used worked well, despite the fact that they were not used in a high-profile project. Environments with high torque The situation, on the other hand, could be improved. Despite the fact that all of the Torx sockets 'fit' into the case, they are not held in place. They 'fit' into hard-surfaced depressions that, while large enough to accommodate each bit socket, do not actually HOLD the Torx sockets in place, so if you inadvertently bump the case while open or, God forbid, open the case upside down, they all fall out of their positions because nothing but the lid holds them in place. There is simply no justification for this. The blow-molded 'tray' on which the bits rest is a common type of blow-molded product. molded plastic that could have easily been designed to grasp/hold the Torx sockets in the same way that many other socket sets (Torx or not) do. The case, however, is in good physical condition. made - exterior construction is similar to that of many brand name sets - The Torx sockets should, however, be secured in place by the insert on which they are resting. Nonetheless, I enjoy the set, but it is the case that makes it 4 stars rather than 5.
I started removing screws from my trailer deck as soon as I got them. I had begun to use a bit in a socket, but I kept dropping it and losing it. These were purchased in order for me to have more control over the bit. I'd removed over a dozen screws with the old screwdriver bit, which showed no signs of wear. This bit was destroyed after only 15 screws were removed, and it was no longer usable. This product disappointed me greatly. br>It may be suitable for very light use, but it is not suitable for heavy duty, rigourous use. The case is quite nice.
This is a fantastic Torx Bit Socket Set with 13 pieces. They're made of heat treated S2 alloy steel bits that have been drop forged. They're made with the intention of reducing wear-and-tear. Increase the turning power of your outs. These sockets go in easily and work with precision, and they are completely rust and corrosion resistant and built to last. Each socket comes with a heavy-duty storage case and has all of the sizes stamped on it. They also meet or exceed ANSI specifications and come with a lifetime limited warranty, which is fantastic. My brother gave them a five-star rating and stated that he would highly recommend them. They also come at a great price.
They are flawless in every way. They're made from real, high-quality materials. The tools are made of high-quality tool steel and are neatly organized (and fitted) in a high-quality hard plastic case. All of this comes at a reasonable cost. That is simply unbeatable. If you're a hobbyist or beginner mechanic, these are the tools for you. They're not the cheapest tools on Amazon, but they're of comparable quality to the top brands at a much more reasonable price. br>br>I actually contacted the company because I want to build a complete Lexivon toolbox out of their tools, but their website is limited. They appear to be a new company, but they intend to release complete sets soon. br>br>I can't speak highly enough of this tool company.
