I've had these for over six months and am very pleased with the socket holder. I've got one in both standard and metric measurements. The rubber holder accomplishes exactly what I need it to: While in my socket bag, it keeps all of the sockets organized and in place. I can throw the entire bag into my travel backpack and the sockets will always be in the right place without having to deal with a bulky hard case.
Only 4 stars because I only needed a few sockets at the time; if you're ready to start your socket set, a much larger set will give you a better value per piece. Stick with Makita or Craftsman if you can, and get the impact rated if possible, because they will last longer than you.
I purchased the 3/8" drive last year and was so impressed with how well they were made and finished that I decided to purchase the 1/4". I put any that I can in the holder upside down so I can just plug the driver in and pull out the socket attached and ready to use.
What could be better than a $10 set of impact sockets with a driver? Brand name you can trust, and a holder that fits your needs. There is nothing but worth!.
These are what I use to work on cars and other household items. br>I'm glad I have them, and I would recommend them to anyone from a novice to a professional repairman.
Given how inexpensive "impact" rated sockets are, they are well worth the money. However, it appears that only three of the seven pieces in my set received the corrosion-resistant coating. We'll see how long they last and how well they hold up.
Returning the item and placing an order for a 1/4-inch drive impact set.
When you need the sockets, this set comes in handy.
