No, but Taiwanese products are a cut above those produced in China, where the emphasis is on 24-hour manufacturing and zero quality control. I have a large number of other Neiko sockets, all of which are Taiwanese. There are no issues with the quality.
This is a 6 point non-returnable item. Non-tampering/tampering Bits of security TP8, TP10, TP15, TP20, TP25, TP27, TP30br>1/4" Drive: TP8, TP10, TP15, TP20, TP25, TP27, TP30br>3/8" Drive: TP40, TP45, TP50, TP55br>1/2" Drive: TP60
Those will almost certainly require a torx bit. To see if that's the difference, try searching for it. The shape of a torx and a torx differs slightly.br>You'll also need a SIX point torx rather than a five point torx.
Taiwanese manufacturers do an excellent job with these. Snap- These are the same tools that are sold as "Blue-" on. Lifetime warranties are available from "Point" and "Williams," but at a higher cost. In the United States, these Neiko-branded tools aren't covered by any kind of warranty, but they're sturdy and won't let you down.

After owning a lot of Tork six-sided tamperproof bits, I figured I'd need this one day. I've never had a bad tool from Neiko Brand, which is manufactured in Taiwan rather than China. I would not buy if it said Made in China because even the "HUSKY" brand carried by HD has issues. The majority of Chinese tools have poor chrome plating and are not heat treated properly. Taiwanese tools are of exceptional quality. This is an excellent brand to purchase. The Tool Trucks are a financial disaster. We'll all see "Tork Plus" fasteners at some point. The bits arrived in good condition, sealed in a plastic box with a storage form attached to each one.
However, this is a fantastic collection, and it appears to be well-made. I expect them to last forever because they will only be used on rare occasions. These are used to put together parts and panels on some cars and trucks.
The main reason I chose this Neiko set was because it included an 8IPR bit, which turned out to be a good decision. Most other kits only go down to 10IPR, but I need the 8IPR to get to small seatbelt buckles. The case is attractive and does not feel 'chinese,' the components are well-formed and precisely ground, and they have so far withstood only minor abuse: ) While there are higher-quality (and more expensive) kits available, I would recommend these for weekly workshop use.
Before now, I'd never needed a 5-point bit. It was a cinch to use! They appear to be well-made and will not be used frequently, but they are an essential tool for saving money. In a nice storage case, this is an excellent product.
br>When tools are required, they work. If you're on a budget, this is a fantastic set. br>The case makes it easy to store and protect it. br>This is a fantastic starter set, and I plan to upgrade to the impact version later.
I'd rather have tools than pay for the back end, as I've stated in previous reviews. Sure, there's no lifetime warranty, but for the price of one socket, I can get a new set in two days. It's been used to remove and install phasers several times and has yet to break.
Quality parts in a good case, nicely packaged. I recently removed the bell housing from a 4L60e transmission with a TP50 and a 1/2" drive breaker bar.
I would recommend it to my friends and family.
