The ideal bit for removing the Jeep XJ 4
5/5

Adapter for 0 oil filter (modified slightly). As a result, the T-shirt was a must-have for me. Separated from the socket by 60 bits. On Amazon, you'll find a plethora of choices; However, as of November 2019, they cost between $11 and $20 for just a little bit. This product is exactly what it says on the tin. It's a two-piece design with a 3/8" drive, and it'll set you back less than $4. If you need it as designed, I'm confident it'll last. (It's a two-piece in that it separates. ) )br>br>I required it to be altered; So I put it in a vice, gripped it with my punch, and gave it a BFH. After a couple of hits, the bit came out! br>br>This is exactly what I needed to remove the oil filter adapter from a 1999 Jeep XJ. Please note that at work, I used a 20-pound sledge and a vice mounted on a steel workbench - All attempts at doing it at home failed (it took about 30 seconds once I had the "right" tools. ).

I found it to be adequate for my needs
5/5

This was purchased to replace some o rings in the oil filter adapter on our Jeep Wrangler. I had to cut the socket connector off in order to use a closed end wrench due to space constraints. One thing I can say about this socket is that it was designed to stay on! I saw videos on YouTube and read forum posts showing guys simply putting one of these in a vice and driving the bit out with a drift pin or punch, but I beat the hell out of it, even heated it to loosen it, and I was never able to get the torx bit out of the chrome socket base. To get through the socket, I had to use my angle grider.

It's good for BMW because nightmares are turning into dreams

This was required for the BMW serpentine belt tensioner because a 1/2 drive socket is too long, requiring the removal of additional items to complete a simple task.

What I was looking for
5/5

60 was a breeze to get out. I read a few reviews about how difficult it was to remove the bit from the socket. Well, in my experience, it was fairly simple. I'm an eloquent writer, and I'd like to share some of my Using a cheapo vice, I opened the jaws so that only the t-shirt was exposed. The socket was resting on the jaws as 60 dropped in. It came out after five gentle taps with a three-pound sledge and a punch. br>br>Also, wrap the t-nut around the oil adapter on a Jeep when using this to fix it. Wrap 60 on a 13mm wrench with black tape, as if it were an ace bandage around an ankle. It's held in place with just a few wraps, so you don't have to worry about it.

I'm unable to separate the bit from the socket
4/5

This is a high-quality item, but I couldn't use it because the TORX bit wouldn't come out of the socket (even with a hammer and drift in a vice), and it wasn't suitable for my application (Jeep 4). 0L oil filter adapter removal) Due to a lack of space, I needed to be able to turn the bit with a half-inch wrench. It would have gotten 5 stars if the two pieces had been separated. You'll be very happy with it if you don't have to separate them.

Helper for the oil filter gasket
4/5

I purchased it for my Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ, but I am unable to remove the hex from the casing. I tried punching with a vice, but it didn't work. My fiancé tried it (and he's a big guy), but he couldn't get it to work. Anything we could think of was tried. It will fit in the tight space, and you can use a 12mm wrench to complete the task. That is exactly what I intend to do. It's just a matter of finding the motivation to finish it.

I found it to be extremely useful
5/5

This was purchased in order to remove the oil filter adapter from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Because the adapter is so close to the vehicle's frame rail, there's no room for a socket wrench, so you'll have to punch the bit out of the socket it's in and loosen it with the closed end of a 13 mm combination wrench. That technique was demonstrated in a YouTube video. It took a little work to get it right, but it was worth it.

This is an excellent tool for the BMW belt tensioner
5/5

For the price, you can't beat it; I've already used it several times since purchasing it, and it's already paid for itself. br>br>For belt tensioners on BMW and other European cars that require the T60 torx, this tool is ideal. br>br>Es muy agradable.
