Taiwan is where the CMMT15857 is made.
Although the socket I received was hog ring, it was not the one I had ordered. Instead of the small 15/16, I got a deep socket 13/16.
You should be able to use it because it's a standard shallow depth socket.

I didn't require an impact socket, but I did require a socket with a thick wall, and this item meets my requirements perfectly. I only use it with a ratchet wrench, breaker bar, or torque wrench instead of an impact, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well with an impact.
I went to a local auto parts store for the same socket and was quoted a price of $25. I bought it for my lawnmower blade, which has a 15/16th nut, and I thought it would be cheap, but I was wrong; this socket is well made and will last me for years.
I've loosen and tightened the bolts on the mower deck blades with several of my impact sockets. Some sockets are slightly beveled, grabbing half (or less) of the bolt head, rounding off the bolt head; this Craftsman socket grabs the bolt from the tip, with no beveled edge. Excellent craftsmanship.
Since 1976, I've owned the same Craftsman tool set. The craftsmanship of Craftsman has always been of the highest caliber. I've heard that the quality has recently deteriorated, but as I previously stated, I've had the same tools for a long time. I recently needed to replace a missing 11/16 socket, so I purchased this one. There isn't a single thing about this video that isn't of good quality. It's built to last!.
" br>With the help of this High Impact Socket and an 18" Breaker Bar, I was able to remove the blades with ease. br>This socket is now an important part of my mower maintenance kit.
After two weeks of showing in-home delivery, Amazon was unable to deliver this Prime item, so I had to cancel it. stock. Even after it was finally delivered, it was further delayed. It's still listed as a Prime item, according to what I've seen. It's not a reliable source of information.
This was purchased to loosen the nuts that held my riding lawnmower blades in place. They were incredibly tight and wouldn't let go. I haven't had the opportunity to use the item yet, but I'm confident it is exactly what the doctor ordered.
I decided to buy something. For my impact wrench, I used a 24mm and a 15/16" socket. No matter how hard I tried, the 15/16" socket wouldn't fit on the impact. The 24mm socket was easy to put on and take off. This is a bad example of production. It was a complete waste of my money. Impact sockets can be found elsewhere.
