Although these are made in China, they appear to be of good quality. Klein Tools makes a few excellent pairs of combination pliers that are made in the United States.
Metal is used to secure the clip.
I have never attempted to cut BX or MC cable with these pliers, and I would not recommend doing so. Cutting NM, THHN, THHW, or other plastic-coated wires is a good idea.
Silly, a single needle nose will suffice in a pinch, but a pair of needle noses will be more useful.

I ordered this because I was overjoyed to have finally found my beloved wire stripper, exactly as shown in the advertisement. And I've recently acquired another item. A different part number is mentioned in the description. Well, I didn't check it when I placed the order. my bad. But! You can get this stripper for $20 from another seller or $25 from Home Depot, which is the most expensive option. I'm not sure what I'm saying. I'm disappointed in myself.
The functionality is satisfactory, but the durability is only adequate. I have a set of Klein 11055 strippers that have served me well for nearly a decade, but I was intrigued by the prospect of a similar tool that could also serve as a light needle nose plier. Regrettably, the tool is not particularly inexpensive. It had loosened up after a few months, rendering the cutters nearly useless, and then the lock that held them shut had broken off. They were becoming more bothersome than useful at that point, so I returned to the Kleins. It's a real pity. It's a fantastic concept, but it's stymied by poor execution.
This is the second time I've purchased Milwaukee 6-inches. One pair of Wire Stripping and Reaming Pliers was lost on the job, and the other pair was misplaced. Allow me to state that this Electricians Pliers is a no-brainer. It has greatly aided me in doing electrical work such as stripping wire, cutting wire, and installing light switches and outlets in tenant apartments while working as a building maintenance worker. Oh, and it works well as a small bolt cutter. This pliers is made of high-quality materials and has well-insulated grips on the handles. This was money well spent.
As a result, I purchased this to replace an ideal stripper that I had grown to adore. I decided to give these a try because they had good reviews and a reasonable appearance. These and a pair of klein strippers were a toss-up. If these break, get a new set; as an apprentice electrician, I use these on a daily basis and they are very durable.
He'd gotten a new job in the HVAC industry and required additional equipment. My husband claims that all of his tools are a source of contention among the guys. They've become my husband's new favorite tool, he says. It's both comfortable and long-lasting. For the price I paid, I believe they were well worth it.
However, once I became accustomed to the location. I didn't care for them at first. But once I got used to where the stripping holes are located, it was a lot easier. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, who I used to use Klien strippers, but these are much sharper, and the handles give you the impression that you have more power. I'm going to buy a few more in case the line breaks down (which could take years at this rate).
Milwaukee Tools are my favorite, and I have a variety of hand tools, power tools, and pipe wrenches from them. I've only recently had the chance to use these combination pliers, but they're extremely useful. As a plumber, I frequently run electrical wires to water heaters, garbage disposals, and other appliances. I can reduce the number of tools I need in my electrical tool bag by using this tool, making work easier. They work well, are comfortable, and get the job done quickly and efficiently. I received this tool in good condition, on time, and without damage.
I'd picked up a few wire strippers in the $6 - $7 range. They were all in the $20 range, and they all had issues with quality. I'm afraid I'm afraid I'm afraid I'm afraid I'm afraid I'm afraid I'm afraid I br> This tool is well-made, with excellent machining. This tool is for you if you require a well-made stripper/plier.
