EASY TO USE: The Smoke Machine Automotive, with its simple operation and portable design, can assist mechanics in producing a large amount of smoke in under 30 seconds to detect pipe system leaks (by heating up baby oil). Diagnosis time is cut in half.

Air-tightness check, evaporating fuel leakage check, and over-heat check are the three main functions. It will turn off automatically if the temperature rises above the working limit (over 167°F). The air pump for the evap smoke machine is separate. It is powered by a DC12V battery and does not require the use of any other air machine.

EVAP System Test, Intake System Test, Exhaust System Test, Fuel Tank System Test, and Car Sealing Test are all supported. (Note: Not applicable to air conditioning system piping) It can quickly find evap leaks.

The actual air pressure is much higher than the 9-psi set by the manufacturer

The advertised pressure was 11 pounds per square inch (psi). It's simple to set up, produces a lot of smoke, and includes a variety of useful accessories. Although the product claims to be for testing EVAP systems, I double-checked. The air pressure output was nearly 15 psi when I checked it! That's not a lot of pressure. That's fine for exhaust or intake manifold testing, but it's far too much for an EVAP system.

I love this thing; it works great, especially for the price, and it made finding evap leaks simple and quick

This thing worked great for me and helped me find leaks on six different vehicles in under five minutes. The only part that was a little unclear was the clear bottle that it came with had markings on it and it said to fill the first time to 20 to 30 mL. I assumed each line on the bottle was 10 mL, which was incorrect because it wasn't clearly marked. The bottle all the way to the top is about 30 ml.

So far, vacuum leaks on a few vehicles have been accurately identified. While you're waiting for your order to arrive, pick up a bottle of baby oil (a recommended smoke-producing fluid). You're not going to be let down.

What I don't like about it is the switch that looks like it's all of the actual power switch for smoke or no smoke Is it there's no gauge can't tell what type of pressure is in the system I wish it would stop at a set psi but overall it's a terrible machine it does help fine vacuum leaks and evap leaks as long as you know what you're doing obviously but overall it's a terrible machine it does help fine vacuum leaks and eva.
