Directions: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> br>Clean the filler cap and the area around it. Fill jack to proper level, then cycle it by lifting and releasing it a few times to get rid of any trapped air. After a few days of using narmal, leaks usually stop. If the leak persists, it may be necessary to repair it. br>br>When I first got my floor jack, it was low on fluid right out of the box. I used some hyraulic oil that I had on hand, and then topped it off with Bars. Bleed air as directed above; no issues thus far, and I've used the jack a lot.

Yes, this product can be used with leveling jacks; however, depending on the size of your vehicle's hydraulic system, you may need to adjust the dosage. One 12. 5 fl oz. 2 to 3 quarts of oil can be treated with one bottle. One bottle for every TWO quarts of oil capacity is recommended for larger systems. It's jack oil, as the name implies. br>I recommend jacking on but not off with it. That is most likely not a good idea.
I used it on an older 3 ton floor jack that was leaking while lifting a vehicle and was pleased with the results. I no longer have hydraulic oil leaking on the ground, which has restored my faith in my older Jack. br>br>I also used it to top-off a brand-new 3 ton rapid pump floor jack. I used the hydraulic oil as directed in the instructions and have had no problems. br>br>Excellent product.
I haven't yet had the opportunity to use this item. However, when the item arrived, the red cap shown in the picture was missing. It was a big deal because I wanted to keep the bottle in case I needed to add more oil to my jack in the future. I could keep it standing if I wanted to. However, having that to store the unused portion would have been ideal. Update- This worked perfectly and saved me the cost of replacing my jack.
This product's bottle "cap" has a terrible design. The lid of this bottle will easily pop off if anything in your toolbox rubs against it. Also, if the bottle is knocked over on its side, the lid will fall off, allowing the oil to spill all over the place! The design is utterly awful.
Used on a 3 Ton Harbor Freight floor jack that had a low fluid level right out of the box. There have been no leaks so far. br>br>The above assessment was carried out on three different occasions. 2018 It's 6 o'clock now. Since that review in 2018, I've used my Harbor Freight floor jack numerous times and have never had a problem with it. Maybe I just got a good jack that needed to be refilled with fluid. When you read the HF floor jack reviews, you'll notice that the most common issue is fluid leaks or blown seals, which cause the jacks to stop working. Perhaps by adding Bar's right away, I was able to keep my seals in good shape. In the future, I'll try to go over it again. I realize it's only been three months, but I've already used the floor jack on our four vehicles.
It only took a few minutes to remove the filler plug, add oil, replace the plug, and jack her back up.
So far, I've used this product in two jacks; the viscosity is ideal, and it performs admirably. I've noticed some negative feedback on other websites, and I believe I know why. If you have faulty rings, the stop leak will not work; you must replace the rings or seals before using this product. Basically, it's good for small pressure leaks and top-offs, but it's not a miracle cure for jacks that are prone to dropping.
This helped me fix a leak on my shaggy-haired dog. out of ten Chinese people a ton log splitter (purchased from a store near the boat docks). Because the jack was already low, I bought two bottles, but the leak was fixed after only one bottle was added and the splitter was cycled five times. 6 times. This is an excellent item.
