Checked out the obdII protocol detector and it is quite impressive Boxes that have been broken. There seems to be no real difference between the two. Among the two, I'd say the OTC item is probably a bit better quality, of course, it costs a little more. However, the two will operate in a similar manner.
The only locations we ship to are in the United States.
Yes, it comes with two jumper wires, one is a switched normaly open wire and the other wire is a solid wire. Both jumpers come with four-millimeter male banana jack adapters.

Allows you to see at a glance the voltage and the status of all This can be used with an oscilloscope to determine if the CAN lines are functioning properly and if voltage or ground issues exist. Tool that should not be missed.
The only thing it is missing is the option to isolate pin 16 from the vehicle in case you need to pipe in 12v on your own. The breakout box is great aside from that. Your connections are nice and snug, and you will appreciate the passthrough capability for your VCI. A diagnostic tool should be a requirement for anyone calling themselves a diagnoses expert.
It looks very nice, and I've hooked it up to my launch. Voltages are readouts I particularly enjoy, but the limits alarms I do not. Often it can cause a lot of frustration. It is necessary to have a switch or a mute button to turn off The tool itself isn't particularly bad, but you cannot go wrong with it. This is a requirement for CAN/LAN systems.
Worked as it should have. The only complaint I have is that the DLC is too loosely connected, as it doesn't take a lot for it to rip In the past I used a DLC extension cable to extend my length. This setup eliminates the need for an extension cable.
The breakout box has been on my shopping list for some time. It would have been better if I had purchased it years.
When scanning any vehicle equipped with OBDII, you must use it. An easy way to diagnose your network.
The CAN breakout box I have only used a few times but is an OTC item so I am confident it is safe. The cheaper ones I've seen for sale are not something I would want to take a chance on.
A quality OTC product!.
