Yes, I agree! The brass fitting can be overtightened with too much force, so be careful not to damage it. I broke mine the 2nd time I used it and I had to make one myself. A brass fitting represents the ICP on the valve cover if yours is on the valve cover

The item I bought for my 2004 F-150 is described as follows The following number is 250 A test is performed on a 0L Powerstroke engine to determine whether any oil leaks exist. It was effortless for me to screw it into the ICP sensor port, but my heart sank when I felt the threads snap off without any pressure at all. Even though the fitting was barely in the port, I was able to back the broken off threads with my hand, otherwise I would have had to buy a new fuel rail and would have had to spend considerably more money. I noticed inside the broken piece was what looked like powder. It does not look like a brass fitting at all. This product is a time and money-waster and might even give you a heart attack if used.
The High Pressure Oil System worked well in my 2005 6 and provided me with great results. Leaks are 0, making it a zero. A reviewer said this is a very cheap product, and they snapped it off while threading it in because it was so cheap. It is difficult to imagine it happening unless you are really tightening it down way more than you need to It will be sealed by the o-ring if it is seated snugly.
The 1/4" male air distribution fitting threaded straight into both pieces. People may not be able to, but I don't understand why they say they can't. I found it to be a good method. It is cheap and easy to test oil systems at high pressures on six. You can close the IPRA with a scan tool as long as you can close the IPRA. By not pulling IPR and using that air fitting, more time can be saved. The job is done by both and both are able to do it.
I found it to be an absolute waste of time as the brass adapter has the same thread on the female end as the male. The 1/4npt as advertised would screw into the oil rail but no air fitting would fit on the female end.
It physically fits into my 06 F350, but it is of no use to me without a 2,000 dollar scan tool that can shut the IPR. To seal the pump, you should buy a kit with the plug.
In fact, I didn't even have the fitting snug against the O-ring when I installed it it had perfect threads. There was a shearing of the ring. Otherwise, I would have been screwed out of my oil rail if I hadn't gotten an easy out in it.
Got a hold of The first step was to tighten the adapter band. A socket broke after I turned it only a sixteenth of a turn and took off some of the cheap metal. The shearing off took so little time that I was able to back it out with my hands after it had sheared off. You need a real adapter, this is cheap metal that won't even hold tight enough to allow pressure to build up.
Installing this high pressure oil rail only takes a few minutes, and it's easy to use. This product has been very satisfying for me.
