I have finally found the leak in the evap system

The pump is what's wrong! On my Jeep Cherokee, I was getting an evap leak code. Just to make sure it wasn't a faulty reading, I got this LDP. failed to clear the trouble code, so I finally did a smoke test and found a few small leaks around the canister under the truck, however I was surprised to find that the biggest leak was actually the pump rather than the canister! It appeared that smoke was coming from almost every seam in the plastic casing (not through is likely that there is a large crack or a loose seal within the cell. As soon as I replaced it, the leak has stopped and no more codes have been seen.

An item such as this did not fit the Jeep GC 2006 model. It is not possible to line up the three x connection points with the holes on the bracket of the car As a result, you cannot properly attach the unit to the Jeep back right corner. In order for it to work, you will need to leave it floating around in the compartment on the back right quarter panel, which is sure to cause damage to one of the hoses or electrical connectors. It was meant to be returned, but the seller won't allow it to be done. Buy this item at your own risk!.
