The compressor was purchased to perform compression testing on a 2005 Cummins engine. The unit is housed in a nice blow molded plastic To tighten them up, I had to turn the fittings a half turn more. It would have been nice if this gauge had been used from the official launch of the tool. I would gladly pay more if it came with the upgraded gauge.
tear the tractor down and get it ready to run a compression test. Then buy the tools to go with it. When it's turned on, shrader valve is leaking all the time, so you're not getting good readings. A poor machined part is being used to mask the issue and a PTFE washer has been used to cover the issue up. The leak does not occur through the button, but rather where it threads into. The situation is quite upsetting to me. They knew they had a problem and shipped it anyway, even though they knew there was no quality control. It has been requested that I be replaced. This week's update I received a new unit, did work well with the Shrader valve, however the gauge read 100 psi. I'm glad the other part works even though the gauge is junk. The only thing you have to do is get Alternatively, you can buy a better.
When I tested my compression on a 06 5, this solution worked beautifully. There are 9 Cummins engines. A bubble wrap bag was inside the case to protect the gauge. The clutch was held in place for all six.
We received products that were damaged and were There was no zeroing of the gauge, so I assume it was damaged during shipping since However, the one in question certainly appears to be cheesy and poorly made. It would not be a good idea to purchase this product on Amazon.
In the area around the schrader valve, there were styrofoam pieces stuck. I removed the gauge and replaced it with a nicer one.
The gauge did not move past 150 psi even after the product was of good quality. The gauge needs to be calibrated back to zero in two days, but I do not know how to do that. That is the only reason why it got a one star rating. In the event someone were to reach out to me about how to resolve this issue or how to get me a new one,.
It's never used, but I have it.
I was not able to use the product. Neither compression nor decompression was possible.
