I am fine even though that is the case. It's all right. There is no harm in paying the price. My preferred suggestion would be that the tips be a little thin and grippier, they are sort of thick and rounded, and the chrome seems very thick and smooth. There is a possibility that the pad surface will grip a little better with a rough surface. If I grind them slightly, maybe they will taste better. Overall, it looks like a pretty high quality product.
My other caliper is a different brand, and it does a great job. This one doesn't spread the caliper large enough to install the new pads.
In addition to its use for spreading brake pads, I'm sure I'll find other uses for it in the shop as well. There might be times when the screw is short enough to not be able to push the pads back far enough for the new brake pads to be installed. It should be as easy as going to the hardware store.
A 2007 Nissan Xterra required the removal of the timing chain cover therefore, I purchased this tool. After I hit the outside edges with a grinder, they became a bit flat. I was able to remove the cover in no time.
The brakes on a full-size truck are too short for modern full-size truck brake threads. There will be a longer thread added soon.
When it comes to certain calipers, they are more convenient to use than others It is very difficult or impossible to use a clamp or screw-type compressor. There is always a way to make them.
Basically, this is the best tool ever! The first thing I did after seeing it on YouTube was to look at purchasing it. I am To push the pistons in, I always used a screwdriver, which would be a bit tricky at times. It literally took me 30 seconds to do this with this program. I had no problem at all! You should own this tool if you work in a shop or in your garage!.
Use a brake pad spreader when you're in a tight spot. Separation can also be done with it for other purposes.
