I think it could do with some Work great on trucks, and is necessary for working on them. Despite the tougher opening process, I was able to get the device fully opened with a hammer. My only complaint is that the part that gets wider or smaller when accommodating different calipers moves back and forth somewhat hard. Hopefully, I will make it easier for it to move by applying grease. Whether it is worth it or not depends on how much you value As a result, I used it in F- and Silverado.
There are a few rough spots on the threads of the 2 bolts. As it is used, I am sure it will improve. My zinc anti-rust lotion was a little too strong I was able to install it on both my daughter's Impala and Expedition. The only drawback is the slightly rough threads, but otherwise it's great.
I am pleased with the design, it is easy to use, and should last a few.
I found this for $30 on AutoZone, so it is very reasonable value wise. The auto zone will let you rent it for free, though.
This is a great idea. Calipers with two pistons - help.
In order to buy a good product, it must be ordered in advance.
