Can anyone tell me why the yoke does not engage with the 3/4" or 7/16" tubing slots? I think the thumb screw is at the end of the pen in the way?

It may not engage on a 3/4 or 7/16, so flip it over to find out as the flare is on both sides. 7/16 fits one way, while 3/4 fits the other way

Why do you need a ratchet wrench?

Unlike a ratchet wrench, this is not a torque There are tools for working on brake lines in this set. There is a flaring tool and a brake line cutter

This is perfect for mechanics that work part time

This is a great product for the price. I used it to flare the 1/2" copper coil tubing for my RV propane supply the day after I received it. First time in use. If you do not do this for a living, then this tool is perfect. However, if you intend to make money with this tool, I would recommend something more professional (Ridgid, etc. ).

The pros include Pros It's cheap, it comes with a case, and it comes with a warranty. I assume it's a 45° flair, but I didn't find any mention of it in the listing. *The "manual" they mention in the listing is nothing but It is well written and looks like a two year old wrote it. An eccentric flairing tool should not be used.

Instead of calling an A/C company (who informed me that they will charge me around 1800 to fix it and refill it) I watched some videos on YouTube and purchased this tool. Once I figured out where was the leak, I made new flares on the first attempt. It is an excellent tool I would recommend it to anyone.

There seemed to be a reasonable amount of quality durability in this thing that was wrong with the tool was that it did not swage 1/8 copper to 3/16 otherwise it would be.

Excellent value for the money

The price was excellent for what you got. This is not a heavy-duty textile, but it will do the job on occasion. This software is used to prepare line sets for the installation of mini split air conditioning.
