There is no voltage requirement (the pressure switch works with any voltage) I believe it fits most of the 2088 pumps.
You could try adjusting the switch shut-off and see if that helps There is a screw at the end of the pump that allows you to turn it off. The pressure that the pump will maintain is adjusted in this way. If this is the case, it looks to me like it has to be turned clockwise. If the unit is supplied with a manual, it should include troubleshooting directions.
There is no further work to do, just screw it down to the floor and attach the water lines, it takes minutes to set up

I cracked the pump housing when the pump head on my old pump froze. It screws into the pump motor with 3 machine screws, and was easy to install. An adjustable wrench for the hose fittings and a #2 phillips screwdriver were all the tools needed to install the new Approximately 10 minutes were needed for the entire process. The plumbing must be disconnected, the two wires that connect to the pressure switch on the rear of the housing must be unplugged, and the 3 screws holding the pressure switch to the motor housing must be removed. The quality of the product was not satisfactory. It was purchased at the end of August to ensure that it was available for use in a greenhouse. A December installation was made possible by pulling the items from back stock. There was a leak where the pump housing attaches to the mounting assembly, so it was not able to build pressure. Inspect the mounting assembly of the pump and the screws that connect it to the housing. Even after tightening these screws, the pump did not reliably build pressure consistently. The car would stop at 48 psi if it did build pressure. By decreasing the adjusting screw, the pump would go off. Tapping the pressure switch after adjusting for less pressure would turn the pump back on. After a second switch, if you didn't tap it, it would cut off again at 48psi. It has been more than 30 days since the 30-day return period If you order this item, your goal is to have it installed immediately, and your intention is to return it or exchange it if necessary.
In addition to replacing a cracked pump head, I was able to replace the entire pump and it only took three screws to change it. I won't ever have to go through the rebuild process again now that I know I can get the entire pump. It saves a great deal of time and money having the spray booms.
